28. Jico - Strong for you

Today I have for you a chapter about Jim and Nico, I hope that all of you love this couple as much as I do. Enjoy today's part :) P. S. I'm a bit late with Yamiro and Simbar and Jico is just too quick now, so I'm letting you now that the next Jico chapter will be giving birth and you can expect it in 10 or 11 weeks.

-----8 years and 11 months after the end of season 3-----

Jim was now sitting on an gymnastic ball in yoga position. It was part of her realease excercise for pregnant women. Jim was trying to relax, because the bigger her belly was, the worse was her ability to walk normally. 

Jim was now seven months pregnant, which meant that she gained 13 kilos and it was deteriorating her sleep, because she was feeling in every position uncomfortable, and also her movements weren't as swift and sure as before.

But Jim didn't complain. She was happy of being pregnant and Nico loved to see her so laidback, happy and funny all the time. He also helped her constantly and sometimes it was going on his nerves, because Jim couldn't now bend down for the heavy bags or vacuum the floor any more. It became Nico's job and he took it very seriously.

Jim had slowly opened her eyes and carressed her belly with an soft smile. "Hello there, Oli. You're very active today, aren't you?" She smiled when their little girl started kicking. In that moment Jim experienced terrible hunger.

So she got up off the ball and hurried to the kitchen to grab some cereals with milk. Jim assured her baby girl. "Don't worry, my Olivia, mommy will never let you starving, we'll eat it together and watch the interview with daddy's band on tv together, yes?"

Jim turned on the tv and waited for the interview. She and Nico finally decided to tell the whole world that they were expecting a baby together. The paparazzi were always debating whether Jim was pregnant or not. Nico and Jim never confirmed anything, because they wanted to protect their little one from the lights of showbusiness. But now they knew that they couldn't hide it any more.

On the tv suddenly some woman announced that Roller Band was coming. And really, Jim in that moment spotted Nico, Pedro and Simón walking in.

The interviewer asked when were they going to release their next album. Jim could hear even through the tv Nico's sharp inhaling. She could tell that he didn't expect this question so early.

Simón cleared his throat and said. "You know, it's been only 11 months since we came back from our last tour. We have prepared about four new songs, but right now we just want to relax and enjoy our lives with our families. All of us have wives who patiently wait for us while we're touring, so..."

Pedro stepped into the conversation. "We will definitely come back, but when we have inspiration. I think that we can come back, let's say 'Give us at least one year to recover.'" He smiled.

But the interviewer was clever. She asked. "Nico, can I ask you something?" Nico replied with an nervous smile. "Sure."

The interviewer stated. "Lots of magazines are wondering, if your wife, Jimena, is pregnant. You both used to be way more active in showbusiness than you are now. And about month ago, the paparazzi spotted your wife in large dress with bigger belly than is usual. Could you tell us what is happening? Because I can tell that none of us think that Jim could gain so much weight for no reason."

Jim covered her mouth in shock and a hint of fear hit her. It was there. The time has come. Nico had looked deeply into the camera as if he wanted to look Jim in the eyes and then smiled when he said.
