Author's Note: Hi, girls! Welcome to the brand new chapter about our lovely couple Yam and Ramiro. I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I did, while I was writing it :) Have a nice day :)
-----11 years and 13 weeks after the end of season 3-----
Ramiro was sat in the café, waiting impatiently for Matteo and Gastón to come. He had called an emergency man group meeting, because he wanted to discuss with them the big topic which was named pregnancy.
Finally, Matteo and Gastón reached his table, both laughing and having a good time. "Hi, man. So, what's up?" Matteo asked with a smile on his lips. Ramiro sighed annoyedly. "Matteo, there's no space for joking, so save it, please." Gastón laughed at Ramiro's mood. "What happened to you? You were always up to any joke." He pointed.
Ramiro ran his hand through his hair desperately. "I was really excited of becoming a father, until Yam started being so moody. I don't know how to act around her any more, because I always do everything wrong. I'm getting so fed up with it. No matter what I do, it's always wrong." He finished.
Gastón said. "No, Ramiro, don't say that. You are great and caring husband." Matteo agreed with him. "Of course, you would give Yam the Moon, if you got the chance." Ramiro shook his head in agreement. "Yes, of course. I just don't understand, why is she so angry with me."
Matteo stated. "Look, bro, when a woman is pregnant, everything in her is changing. Some of them are even losing themselves. Our only option is to give them all our attention and support, because they're having a stressful and challenging time.
For example, when Luna was expecting our first child, she was always happy and calm and she ate disgusting combinations of food. With our second baby she was also calm, but she was eating all the time. And now that we're expecting our third bundle of joy, she's tired again, but she's really enjoying it. Sometimes I feel like she was born to be pregnant. And she's a wonderful mother."
At the end of Matteo's monologue, his friends could tell that he was very passionate and proud of his family. Gastón shouted. "Are you joking?! You're expecting your third child? Why didn't you tell us sooner?" Matteo grinned proudly. "Chill out, we found out about the baby yesterday. Besides, Luna is just three weeks along."
Ramiro complained. "Yes, but you two have really calm women. But Yam is like a volcano - you never know when she's going to explode." Gastón decided to let his friend speak. "And how does her 'moodiness' look like?"
Ramiro sighed. "That's hard to explain. For instance, in the morning she scolded me for not shutting the door to our bedroom. Yesterday she was so happy that I couldn't believe my eyes and she ate the whole pack of nutella. When I asked her what has happened that she's feeling so happy, she started crying and said that I don't understand her. Oh yeah, and now I got a message from her."
He quickly scanned the text with his eyes. In the text were written these words and Ramiro pictured Yam saying it with her typical tone with a sting of suspicion. "Ramiro, where are you? I'm waiting for you at home. You were supposed to be back an hour ago."
Ramiro commented it. "See? Now she's snappy and suspicious again." Matteo noticed the sadness in Ramiro's voice. "Ramiro, try to understand her, okay? You have to handle it few more weeks, when she's in the second trimester, she'll be back to her old self again." Gastón nodded supportively. "Yes, Matteo's right. You should go back home, she's probably worrying about you." Ramiro smiled. "Thank you, lads for making time for meeting me. Now I'm not feeling as miserable as I was few minutes ago." Gastón smiled. "Anytime, champion, that's why we are friends." Matteo shouted at him, when Ramiro was leaving the café. "Good luck!" Ramiro smiled and waved them goodbye.
Yam was pacing around the kitchen desperately. She was worrying about Ramiro as she wanted to tell him something. She was feeling bad for snapping at him in the morning and she assumed that Ramiro is angry at her. He didn't respond to her text and she sent it to him 38 minutes ago.
Suddenly, a wave of fear that Ramiro would leave her for being so moody washed over her mind. Tears started pouring out of her eyes at the horrible thought. Few minutes later Yam found herself at the edge of panicking, because she thought that something bad happened to him.
While she was considering a choice to call the police, she heard the front door open. Yam ran there quickly. When she saw the tall figure of her beloved husband, she smiled, relieved, but she couldn't quell her turbulent pregnancy hormones and started crying. She exclaimed. "Oh my God, Ramiro, you scared me! I'm so glad that you're alive!" With that, she wrapped her arms around his torso.
These sudden signes of love caught Ramiro off guard. He hugged her back and whispered. "Yam, angel, calm down. Why shouldn't I be alive?" Yam sobbed. "You didn't respond to my text and I was so worried that something bad happened to you."
Ramiro put his head into his hands and said apologetically. "I'm sorry, I was with Gastón and Matteo in the café. I've read your message but I forgot to text you back. I'm sorry, Yam." he said sincerely.
Yam said. "That's okay, I'm just overreacting like usual. I wanted to apologize for being so moody these days. I know that I'm unbearable, but the pregnancy is messing with me. I don't even know who I am any more. And the concert that is going to be tomorrow...I'm quite scared of it. And I'm just pouring out my frustration at you and it's not fair. I'm sorry, Ramiro. I promise that I won't do it again." She said with teary eyes.
Ramiro smiled and wiped her tears. "Yam, relax, baby. There's no need to apologize. I know that this is hard for you and I want you to know that I'm always here for you. Besides, it's not something you could take control of. Your emotions are like a roller coaster and I admire you for being so strong."
Yam smiled. "Thank you, Ramiro. I'm happy that I have you." Ramiro smiled. "I'm happy for having you too. And you will never lose me, Yam." Yam stared at him in shock. She blushed. "You knew that I was afraid of losing you?" Ramiro nodded with an loving smile. "How?" Ramiro smiled. "I know you, Yam. I would never leave you, I love you. And I also love our baby that is growing in your belly." Yam smiled. "I love you too." Then they shared a passionate kiss.
Yam then asked with a hope in her voice. "Rami?" He looked up to her. "Yes?" Yam continued. "I was wondering, if you maybe wanted to join me tomorrow on stage at the concert. It's the last concert of my world tour and I excpect that it's going to be my last performance for a long time since I'm pregnant. And the concert celebrates my 30th birthday and I'd love to see you there. What do you think about it?"
Ramiro was amused. "Wow. You're asking me to sing a song with you on stage?" Yam nodded, slightly smiling. "Yes. What do you think?" Ramiro smiled. "I'd love to sing with you again. Thank you, love. It is an honour to share a stage with you." Yam hugged him. "For me is an honour to sing with you." Ramiro smiled.
-Next day-
Yam was so happy, because the concert hall was completely sold out. She said to the microphone.
"Thank you all so much for your support, love, dedication and for coming to my concert. It has been an incredible journey and the fact that I'm turning 30 in two weeks time is still new to me.
As you probably know, my tour should have had two more months of travelling. I want to apologize for canceling that, I'm truly sorry, but I can't tour any more.
But before I tell you, welcome on the stage my wonderful husband Ramiro Ponce! The last song of this concert will be our song called Creyendo en mi and we're going to sing it together."
Ramiro came to the stage with an shining smile. He took Yam's hand into his to encourage her and kissed her on the cheek.
Yam continued speaking. "I can't continue in my world tour, because me and Ramiro are expecting a baby together. I can't keep on touring because flying and stress is not healthy for the baby. Thank you all so much for support, but I'm announcing big news today. I'm taking a break in my career for at least three years, but I'll come back, I promise."
The fans started cheering, shouting and clapping hands. All of them were happy for Yam and Ramiro.
Their shared performance was filled with love, trust and hope. Their love for each other was almost touchable even for the fans. Every time when Yam and Ramiro shared the stage, it looked special, almost magical, which happened always when the two of them were together.
