Epilogue - Stronger together

Author's Note: Hello, everyone! It's here, the day has come. I want to thank every single one of you for accompanying me along this incredible journey. I wrote all these fanfictions for you to make you happy and that made happy even me myself :) In today's Author's Note 4 you'll find more information about my own storry called 'Spark in the darkness'. -----27 years after the end of season 3-----

The big garden of the styled Balsano mansion was quickly filling up with the closest friends and family members of all the Balsano family. Luna was trying to control the catering and their job, but there were so many people that she was getting pretty confused of it all.

She just stated. "Mom, please place the large and yummy cake on this table and don't go anywhere. Leo should be here in any minute." Luna looked around to check if everyone was where they should.

So many years had passed since the day she celebrated her eighteenth birthday. Now it was her son's turn and she didn't know if she should be happy that he was mature now or if she should feel sad that he wouldn't be her sweet little lad any more.

Her sight blurred by tears when she recalled the moment when Leonardo took his first step and called excitedly. "Momm!" She had to smile at that memory. It was seventeen years ago and everything has changed since then.

Leonardo grew up and changed into a charismatic, intelligent and truly gorgeous boy with mysterious dark brown eyes and styled curly brown hair. His smile made every girl weak in the knees, his mom included.

He reminded her of Matteo, not only by the physical appearance, but also by the behaviour. Leonardo was very laidback, composed and organised. He was also very sensible, up to any fun, very optimistic and self-confident. He was also kind and nice to everyone, and sensitive in the heart.

Her recollection of nice moments was interrupted when she felt a soft kiss being pressed on her cheek. Soon it was followed by Matteo's soft voice. "What were you doing, love? You're distracted again." He pointed out, smiling lightly. 

He looked almost the same as before, his eyes were sparkly and filled with love. But his eyes crincled when he smiled and his hair was also getting a grey savor. That was understandable; he turned 46 just about three months ago.

Luna herself was still very active, but sometimes she noticed a little tiredness in her legs and also her hair contained a few grey hair.

She smiled at her beloved husband and said. "I was just wondering where had all the time go. Giuli is not living with us any more and she's engaged to Saul. Vivi is fifteen now and it was just yesterday that we discussed the boy she likes..." She couldn't finish her sentence, because Matteo shouted in shock. "What? No, that can't be! She's too young to have a boyfriend! I'll have a serious discussion with her about this topic, I swear to God..."

Luna just watched him, feeling amused. He was very fixed on their youngest daughter, she was his princess. She placed her hand on his cheek and that made him look at her. She started. 

"Matteo, you can't change it. She's growing up. Please, let her. Love is not something poisonous, it's beautiful. I know, I would love to have her as a child still, but she needs our support at this difficult time. You can't be so overprotective, Christian is a good boy." She smiled at him encouragingly, but that only added the fuel to Matteo's anger.

His eyes widened at the realisation when he exclaimed. "What? Christian is the boy she likes?" Luna put her hand over his mouth. She hissed. "Matteo, be quiet! It's a secret!"
