26. Lutteo - Special baby

-----5 years and 2 months after the ned of season 3-----

Luna was now 21 weeks pregnant. She was enjoying the pregnancy at the full blast, because she was feeling like she was born to be pregnant. She has never felt so well and composed in her whole life.

She was lying in their bed and she held one hand over her now big belly. Matteo was lying beside her and both of them were trying to convince their baby girl to kick. Matteo was now running fast with his fingers over Luna's belly, causing her to laugh.

He was laughing. "Hey, my princess, kick for daddy, don't be lazy! We bought you beautiful pink clothes today." Then he looked at Luna with shining eyes, which obviously made Luna think that he has one of his great ideas again.

"Luna, do you think that if we picked out a name for her that she would be willing to kick?" Luna laughed. "I don't know, Matteo. But do you want to know what I think? She's your daughter, which means that she definitely inherited your terrible bad habit, which is intentionally not doing what others plead you to do."

Matteo was playing hurt. "Me and intentionally not accomplish other people's wishes? That's impossible, you're such a terrible liar, Mrs. Balsano!" They started laughing together, but then Luna stated. 

"I'm afraid that she won't kick even if we begged her on our knees. She doesn't want to kick, she might be tired, or lazy, or maybe even stubborn. That's it. She isn't even born yet and she already is all like you." 

Matteo grinned. "Admit it, Luna, you're jealous that she's like me! Besides, she'll be absolutely flawless if she's like me, which is also good for you, because even if you deny it, you know that you love me." He said with sparkling eyes and started attacking her neck with sweet kisses.

Luna giggled. "And who said that I deny it? I love you a lot, a lot, maybe too much for my liking." Matteo winked at her playfully. "Of course you love me. You're so into me since the day that you bumped into me in Cancún."

Luna stretched her legs, ready to get up. She stated with a smile. "You're being so full of yourself again, I have enough."

But Matteo wrapped his strong arms around her and held her close. He said amorously. "No, don't go anywhere. You know how much I enjoy teasing you. I love you so much, Luna, you know." He looked her deeply in the eyes and this look of his made her heart skip a beat as always. 

She blushed. "Yes, I know. I love you too." Matteo smiled and gently pressed his lips onto hers. Luna wrapped her arms around his neck, while they deepened the kiss. When they finally pulled away breathlessly, still holding each other, Luna suddenly held her baby bump and widened her eyes.

"Matteo! Something moved inside of me! Give me your hand." She placed her and Matteo's hand over her belly. Both of them held their breath for a second excitedly and then suddenly, something hit Luna's stomach from inside.

Luna's eyes started watering, so she looked at Matteo excitedly and found him in a state of trans and absolute happinnes, when he whispered. "This is incredible. Did you feel it, Luna?" he asked, eyes shining with excitement.

Luna nodded with an happy smile. "Yes! I did! Matti, do you know what this means?" She squealed. Matteo shouted happily. "Yes! Our girl kicked for the first time!"

They shared an quick, but still passionate kiss. Matteo stated, on a cloud nine. "Now it gets even more real."

Then he leaned down to Luna's belly and whispered. "Hi, princess. Thank you for the kick. It makes us glad that you finally let us know that you're fine. It means a lot to us. We'll pick out a beautiful name for you soon, sunshine. We love you."
