44. Lutteo - Brighter than the stars

Author's Note: Hi, everybody! Welcome to another chapter about Luna and Matteo. This one is not going to be about pregnancy, it's ten years later after Giulia was born and I want to show you how the Balsano family works. Next week you can look forward to Gastina chapter. -----10 years later (15 years and 7 months after the end of season 3)-----

Luna was feeling a weird sensation on her skin. She moved her arm to get rid of that strange feeling, but it didn't stop. When she thought about it better, she recognized a soft quiet laugh of her husband.

Suddenly, she felt something wet and soft trailing down from her chin to her shoulder. Her eyes fluttered open. The first sight of hers in the morning was Matteo placing kisses all over her body.

She smiled immediately. Then she met with Matteo's beautiful dark brown eyes, playful in the morning. She heard him saying. "Good morning, love."

Her lips formed a sweet smile when she answered. "Good morning, Teo." Matteo had leaned in and connected his lips with Luna's.

Their lips were connecting with so much love and passion as when they were eighteen. Few giggles escaped out of their lips, when suddenly...

They were interrupted by a jump. Matteo and Luna had sat up on the bed and tried to figure out what just happened. 

Luna then pointed with a smile at Matteo's duvet, which was suspiciously raised in shape of a small boy's figure. 

Luna and Matteo shared a smile, Matteo then winked and both of them pulled at the duvet, which revealed their six years old son Leonardo. Matteo started to tickle him, until he squealed. "Daddy, stop!"

Luna stroked tenderly his curly brown hair, which he inherited from Matteo and said. "Good morning, baby. I like to see you in a good mood. Come on, get up. It's time for a delicious breakfast."

Leo gazed at Luna with his deep dark brown eyes. In that moment he looked like a smaller Matteo. He was very intelligent, quiet, self - confident and handsome, just as Matteo.

On the other hand, Leonardo was also very funny and optimistic, which he inherited from Luna.

He asked, his eyes sparkling. "Mommy, can I get strawberries?" Luna smiled at him lovingly and pressed a kiss on his cheek. "Of course you can, honey." 

He lit up. "Thank you." Luna laughed. "You're welcome." The little boy left the room, looking satisfied. 

Luna glanced over at the clock, then said. "We have to wake up Giuli and Vivi. It's time to get up." Matteo nodded and said. "I'm going to take care of that."

It was a Monday morning, which meant that the older kids had to go to school and Matteo with Luna to work.

Matteo had got up and headed to the girls' room. He undid the curtains and spoke up softly. "Giuli, angel. It's time to get up."

The ten year old girl just moved on the bed. Matteo sat beside her and carressed her cheek. "Lia, wake up. We have to go to school."

In that moment she whined. "No. I don't want to get up." Matteo just laughed and lifted her duvet, so that the cold air could hit her and awake her. "Get up, don't be lazy. There's a beautiful day ahead of you."

Giulia had finally opened her eyes and gave her dad a stern look of her deep dark brown eyes, which were matching with her dad's eyes. 

"It's not a good day ahead of me, dad. We're writing that test again." Matteo could sense that his always optimistic and absolutely distracted daughter was very bothered by it. He sat beside her and smiled at her.
