-----5 years and 6 months after the end of season 3-----
"Luna, please. Sit down and don't do anything. Seriously, I can pack you the bag to hospital on my own." Matteo ordered resolutely. He was slowly losing his patience with his already 36 weeks pregnant wife, who even though she was two days before her due date was still as active as she used to be and wanted to move around, because sitting and doing nothing was unacceptable for her.
Luna sat herself down on the bed and whined. "Matteo, I don't want to sit! I want to walk and move, please. I need it." She whined.
Matteo sighed and sent Luna the steady look of his deep brown, almost black eyes. In that moment Luna knew she wasn't supposed to win. Matteo was very serious and determined not to let her do anything.
He said firmly. "Enough, Luna, don't palter with me. You know I'm doing it for your own good. Giuli can be born any time soon and if you move yourself as much as you do, you can give birth literally in any second."
Then he had smiled and walked over to her. He put an arm around her protectively, the other he took into his and said caringly.
"Love, let me help you. Let me do everything, I can do it. You need a rest and this household needs a big cleanup, because it's really chaotic lately." Luna smiled, feeling a bit ashamed.
She was never into cleaning up, but she knew that Matteo hated mess and everything that was out of place. When she didn't have as big baby bump, she tried her best to keep their home clean, or at least comparatively clean. But now she was in the last month of pregnancy, her baby bump was too big to move and Matteo didn't let her even go to the bathroom on her own.
She loved the way he cared about her, though. He followed her everywhere to make sure she was alright. And these actions increased on its intesity since the due date was coming.
Luna had smiled and said. "I know you want to help me and I really appreciate you for it. Thank you. But it's so weird for me not to do anything." Matteo laughed. "I know, but you have to wait only few months and everything will go back to normal."
He pressed a soft kiss onto her lips, then pulled away and smiled. "I'll pack the stuff." Luna smiled. "Thank you."
The next thirty minutes they spent by choosing the right things to pack to the maternity hospital. Luna then said. "The only thing left is my yellow nightgown. You know which I mean, right?"
Matteo nodded, his face was full of concentration. "Yes, the big one?" He assured himself by looking at her. Luna conceded. "Yes."
Matteo kept searching through Luna's cupboard, but couldn't find it anywhere. He said. "I'm sorry, Luna, but I can't find it. Where did you put it?"
Luna had stretched her legs and when Matteo warned "No!", she was already standing. In that moment something slackened inside of Luna's belly and few seconds later she felt a wet liquid on her legs.
Luna stared at her legs in shock. Matteo widened his eyes, but before he could say something, Luna just shrugged nervously. "I'm sorry, I probably just wet myslef and..."
Luna didn't finish her sentence and looked at Matteo, whose face was deadly serious and maybe a little scared, but most of all determined and focused. She widened her eyes.
"Oh God. My water just broke!" She whispered, the reality finally hitting her. Matteo nodded. "To the hospital!" He shouted and quickly grabbed the bag and told Luna.
