It's been six days since the thunderstorm incident.

Six.

Whole.

Days.

And I'm starting to freak out.

We've both been preoccupied with our upcoming exams and deadlines that we hadn't had a chance to talk about what happened. Is there even anything to talk about? I'm not entirely sure.

And that's why I'm sat here waiting in a coffee shop for the girls to show up. Piper and Libby Tressler sit down at the table, I'd known them just over a decade through Leo but our friendship had really become cemented when I'd begged them to help me pull the strips off of my home bikini wax. In my defence they were the only females in the house, I couldn't of asked my seven year old sister could I.

I guess friends that wax together stay together.

The Tressler twins look similar, high cheekbones, deep coffee brown almond shaped eyes and smooth brown skin. A harmonious combination of Jamaican and Japanese heritage. Yet Piper had the sides of her head shaved low and the top of her hair filled with tight curls and Libby let hers grow to the middle of her back. Although Jodie's my best friend I adore and love the Tressler twins.

"Are you going to make us wait till Jodie gets here before you tell us what this is about?" Piper sighs not masking her dislike for Jodie.

"What makes you think I didn't want to just catch up with my favourite girls?"

"Because we know you that's why E" Libby gives me a pointed look stirring her tea testing the temperature with her pinky.

"Okay you have a point" I grumble.

"At least tell us how your party went while we wait"

"As great as I hoped, I don't think anyone was sober, we only broke two vases and Chad Ewers ate a live fish" showing them the video that had been sent round

"I'm heartbroken to have missed a classic D'Silver party" Libby sighs into her tea whilst Piper chuckles at the video.

"They'll be other parties, so how was your cousin's wedding?"

"Absolutely beautiful!" Libby squealed grabbing a few Polaroid's from her purse showing me the wedding in Japan. She's right it definitely looks beautiful.

"Libby designed the dress! Isn't it gorgeous" Piper tells me proud of her sister's talents.

"I swear you get better with every dress! Are you still okay to do my dress for my charity dinner?"

"Girl I've already finished your dress, you are going to look stuh-ning! Finally Jodie so nice of you to turn up!" Libby doesn't even hide her annoyance as Jodie sits at the table, not fussed about being late.

"I always make an entrance, wherever I go, I have places to be so let's make this quick" Jodie shrugs calling over a male waiter.

"Well E spill the beans!" Libby ignores Jodie turning to me.

"What beans?"

"Jodie if you shut up for a second I'm sure we'll find out" Piper smiles sweetly resulting in Jodie rolling her eyes.

"I don't know whether I'm over reacting-"

"Probably" Jodie interrupts but is silenced by a glaring Piper.

"As I was saying, I almost kissed Mason!" I squeal, which is joined by Libby squealing and Piper's eyes widening with interest.
