Mackie and I decide to be friends. We are not attracted to each other. We act more like brother and sister. Well that's what I want anyway.  I manipulate us back to friends. Phillip keeps his distance. He decides to stay with Trish. She might be high maintenance which makes her less trouble then me. I'm not ready to commit to anyone. Torri and I are fading in our texts. Seems his girlfriend is demanding. Steve says she is psycho. If that's what Torri wants who am I to judge?

When I get home, on the counter is a letter from Randy. Our last exchange was super-heated. We were debating his rehabilitation into society. When he turns 18, they are going to let him out.  That is in July. At 15, this is a little too much for me.  I try to help him figure stuff out none the less.

My window seat has become my favorite spot to read.

Tia,
So I got some news and I couldn't wait to share with you. I get a pass this weekend. I hope snail mail get's this letter to you fast. I will text you from my sister's phone once I am out. I hope she can drive me out on Friday.

Sorry so Short. Trying to catch the mail carrier.

Love you,

Randy

Randy and I have not seen each other in months. He was originally supposed to spend three months in Juvie but it got extended. Something about him not getting good behavior or having to finish counseling. I never got a straight answer from him and assume he did something in lock up to extend his stay. He didn't want to tell me and I don't want to know.  It is Thursday so not too long to wait. The Boys and I are going to a Party tomorrow night. The whole school is going. I am not sure a party is a great idea for Randy right now. Maybe a party isn't the best thing for Randy and Tia right now either.

Jake and Gary will know. I text in our group chat to tell them my plans might change tomorrow night.

"Randy getting out. Plans might change."-Tia

"Randy will want to come."- Jake

"I agree."- Gary

"You sure it's a good idea."- Tia

"You are not his mom, my Princess. Let him make the choice."- Jake

"Fine."- Tia

The Boys are no help. Of course Randy would want to come but should he?

School on Friday goes so slow. My butterflies don't help. I haven't been this nervous in months. My phone is in my hand all day and I check it constantly. Randy didn't give me a time he is being released so I am agonizing over the screen. Finally at 4:15 pm, my phone buzzes as I'm leaving practice.

"Hey Beautiful. We ok for tonight. I found a ride."- Randy

"The Boys and I are supposed to go to a Party but I can cancel." -Tia

"No don't cancel. I will meet you there. Tim told me about it. Didn't think you would want to go."- Randy

How the heck did Tim tell him about it? Maybe he is writing the boys from the Home too.

"Had to call the Home when I got out to see if I could stay overnight and Tim answered."- Randy

"Makes Sense. See you at 800?"- Tia

"Yes"- Randy

"Can't wait. Have to go get beautiful."-Tia

"You always are."-Randy

Putting on my converse, I wear a rose gold shirt and white tennis skirt. The converse are metallic rose gold. My hair is twisted into a bun at the nap of my neck. I want to give him easy access. I add pinks on my eyes and gold one my lips. You paint a pretty picture in the mirror, Tia. Athena nods her head in agreement.
