Lisa was a hardworking student while her classmate Chaeyoung was addicted to everything.
Nobody seemed to care about the girl getting high off drugs. Well, everyone except for one.

She cared, and she wanted to make sure Chaeyoung didn't die.

(Chae pov)
"Um so, I- uh.... Lisa fumbled with her fingers. It was obvious she was nervous.
Chaeyoung felt herself growing more tired. Not from actually being tired, but from the stress and anxiety she had on her shoulders.
The things that were still eating away at her.
"Are you okay?" Lisa finally asked quietly.
Chaeyoung gulped noticeably and could sense Lisa watching her. She just nodded.
"I don't think you are..." Lisa said reluctantly. "Because I'm not."
Chae looked up to her. Lisa had tears in her eyes. "I hate him." She huffed. Wiping the now falling drops away.
"Me too." Chaeyoung answered. Her voice hitched, because she was starting to cry too.
"If I ever see him again, I'll kill him."
"You nearly did."
Lisa looked deeply into Chaeyoung's eyes, it sent a shiver down her spine.
"I... should have."
Chaeyoung closed her eyes after Lisa's gaze became too much. It was strong and serious, yet sad and afraid at the same time.
Lisa couldn't kill someone. Chaeyoung knew she couldn't, unlike herself. She's already killed three people.
One of them, being herself.
"Lisa..." she started. Holding back her tears.
" I can't stop thinking about it. Seeing him over you... I can't stand him. I want him behind bars."
Chaeyoung just listened as Lisa ranted about him and the whole situation. The truth was he had never came that close before, that being what terrified her the most.
The fear of being sexually abused had happened before, not just by him but others too. Most came in the form of remarks.
Chaeyoung had a history with receiving them.
She could feel herself remembering everything. She stopped herself, or else Chaeyoung would start sobbing just like she did earlier.
"I can't process this. How? Why?" Lisa was still crying. She wasn't used to going through something like this.
She was too pure and had too good of a home life to.
"I still see it Chaeyoung..." Lisa said, surprisingly more put together. "I want to scream. If I would have just went to you sooner..." Lisa's head hung low.
"If I would have stayed with you after he found us... then it wouldn't have happened. It was all my fault. I'm so sorry."
Chaeyoung stared. So that's why Lisa was so affected by what happened... she blamed herself. Chaeyoung took a few deep breaths while closing her eyes.
