The ride home was quiet. No words from either sibling could be uttered. Midnight could tell Dawn wanted to ask him if he was okay, but he didn't want to say. 'No,' He thought. 'I'm not okay. Everything hurts and I wish I could just..' "Midnight--." Dawn broke through his thoughts. "Please if anything is wrong.."

"Nothing is wrong." He muttered loudly. "Stop asking already."

She shook her head, staring at the road ahead when Midnight glanced to her annoyed gaze. "I know something is up. I can feel your angry and upset aura."

"I'm not!"

"You are."

The car drove up the house driveway, Dawn pulling back into the garage. She stopped the car and froze. "Mid," She rested a hand on his, he wanted to pull away, but she seemed to hold him down. "Please."

He shook his head again. 'I don't want to talk to you.' He thought grimly. 'I wish I could just be alone..'

He faked a small smile, flashing it to his twin. "I'm just trying to recover from that scare okay? I am angry that it had to happen then," She paused. "but it did and we can't change that."

"Yeah but--." Midnight didn't listen, only opening his car door, faking a smile again before grabbing his bags from the back part of the car and walking fast off to the door to the house. Opening and unlocking the door, he heard a shuffling of objects to the side. 'Who is here?'

"Hey Mid." While taking off his shoes and jacket, Leah spoke his name. His mothers best friend. And, his too. Midnight never liked how Leah was away so much, but she was a leader after all. But he had gotten close to her because he could relate. Fear, rejection, difference. Leah was a half-blood, she somewhat understood him. At least that's how he felt.

"Hey Lee." He grinned teasing her. Her eyes rolled at his taunt. "Oh not you too. Your mother is a-." She trailed off.

He chuckled. Sitting at the stool across from Leah. She smiled, for once seeing his face didn't make someone go wide eyed. "She's always telling me things to anger you."

"Yeah because she enjoys it as much as you do." She glanced over to his face in silence, shortly smiling. "You remind me of her a lot." She began, then taking a deep breath. "You look almost exactly like her. Besides the bruises."

"Don't start.." He mumbled annoyingly.

"Midnight." She put her hand on his own flat one. "I understand you don't want to talk about it--"

"Then lets not." He tried to get up, only to be pulled back down with a harsh tug at his arm. "But," She continued where she left off. "I'm not going to snitch to Lilly. I know how much you'd hate me for that." He nodded as she continued. "Just tell me. I used to be you in school and when I was young--well in the same situation. Except I was leader."

Midnight frowned, keeping his face down at the counter. Meeting Leah's eyes was hard. Did she know how it was? She was a half blood after all. 'Maybe..'

He inhaled slowly. "Alright. I will tell you."

"So..for a few weeks now. I have been being taunted and..beat up by these group of guys--"

Midnight was going to keep talking until seeing a flow of white sparkles appeared next to Leah. 'Lilly..' He wanted to grumbled annoyingly out loud. But kept quiet to see what she would say
"Lilly why are you here? I told you to stay and heal the remaining guardians."
Lilly looked at her friend, and to her son. "I did Leah, stop worrying about it." She smiled at him. "Hey kid."
