Just before Brendon and Patrick leave, to go home, Dallon gestures for Brendon to come over.

"Hey, Patrick, I'll be back in a second. Just gonna go talk to Dallon for a sec." "Sure! I'll wait here!"

Brendon walks over to Dallon and the tall man immediately holds his hand.

"This is Brendon, my boyfriend," he says to the other people at the table and they all greet Brendon.

"Hey, would you like to go out to dinner tonight?" Dallon asks Brendon, who smiles and nods.

"I'd love that, honey." "Great, I'll text you the details." "Yeah, see you tonight." "I'll see you, baby."

Dallon kisses Brendon softly before Brendon walks back to Patrick and they walk outside.

"So, how'd you and Pete meet?" Brendon asks, out of the blue and Patrick starts smiling.

"Well, I was at Central Park with some friends and then Pete came up to me and told me he thought I was cute and then he asked if we maybe could go get something to drink together and we went on a date a few days later. He was super nice and I really liked him, so we went on more dates and then he asked me to be his boyfriend." "Aww, that's so cute. He always told me that he would never ever get a boyfriend and that he wanted to be alone and now he has you."

Patrick's smile grows and he blushes a little.

"I'm happy that he got you now because you guys are super cute together and Pete seems super happy." "I haven't had that many relationships, but this one is the best one I've ever had. Pete is super understanding and sweet and I could talk about him for hours," Patrick says and Brendon smiles.

"Ugh, that's so cute. I wish I had that." "Well, you could have something like that with Dallon, if you just told him you like him." "Ugh, we'll see. Just not yet, I can't handle that." "Alright, you gotta tell me when you do though! I wanna know how it goes!"

They get to Patrick's place and Brendon just gives Patrick a hug.

"Alright, I gotta get home and get ready for that dinner with Dallon, tonight." "Have fun. I'll see you some other time, yeah?" "Yeah. I enjoyed today!" "Me too. you're really cool." "Thanks. You too!" "Thank you. I'll see ya!"

Patrick goes inside and Brendon just gets a cab, telling him the address and going home.

When he gets home, he connects his phone to the sound system he had in his apartment and puts on some music.

He sings along and walks into his walk-in closet and looks at all the clothes he owns. He needed to wear something nice, tonight and he still had to decide what he was gonna wear.

He decides to just go for black dress pants and a dark blue button-up.

He puts the clothes on the bed and walks into the bathroom, putting the shower on and getting his clothes off.

He steps in the shower and hums softly at the feeling of warm water hitting his skin.

He just closes his eyes for a few seconds, before he takes a quick shower.

When he gets out of the shower again, he quickly dries off and walks into the bedroom again, putting on the clothes he'd put on the bed and fixes his collar.

He goes back into the bathroom, combing his hair and styling it before he puts his lenses in and he puts on some cologne and looks in the mirror, smirking and winking at himself jokingly.

He chuckles and grabs his stuff. Then, he goes into the kitchen and just pours himself a glass of wine. He needed some alcohol to make him less nervous, even though he didn't really have a reason to be nervous.

After a while, his phone starts vibrating and he looks at it, seeing that it's Dallon, who's calling him.

Brendon picks up and before he can say anything, Dallon starts talking.

"Hey there, so, first of all, I am incredibly sorry. I am currently on my way to the airport because there has been an emergency thing at one of the locations of my company in Paris and I need to go there, right away. I'm probably gonna be gone for two weeks. I'm sorry that I can't go out for dinner with you tonight, Brendon." "Oh." "Gosh, I'm sorry, Brendon. I feel really bad and I wish I didn't have to go."

Brendon sighs and tries not to feel disappointed.

"It's fine. You can't help it." "Are you sure it's fine?" "Yeah. Of course. I'll just order some take out and cry myself to sleep," Brendon says, trying to joke around a little, but it comes out half-heartedly.

"Alright. Again, I'm so sorry." "It's okay. Have fun in Paris. Good luck with your emergency."

Brendon disconnects the line and just throws his phone on the kitchen counter before grabbing his glass of wine and downing it.

He just groans and closes his eyes for a few seconds, before walking into the bedroom and changing into some grey sweatpants.

He takes his lenses out and puts some glasses on, not really caring anymore.

He felt kind of angry, but it wasn't like Dallon could help it. He needs to go to Paris, to make sure his company didn't go bankrupt.

He just orders some Chinese take-out and sits down on the couch, just putting on the tv and watching whatever is on.

He hates how disappointed he is that he wasn't gonna go out for dinner with Dallon, tonight. And he wasn't gonna see Dallon for two weeks, which made him sadder than he would want to.

The doorbell rings and Brendon gets up, walking over to the door, seeing that it's the food delivery guy.

"Hi, order for Brendon Urie?" "Yeah, that's me!" "Alright, that'll be $21,50."

Brendon hands the man $30 and gestures for him to keep the change.

"Thanks, sir." "You're welcome."
