Rachel's POV

My alarm goes off and I can't believe it is Monday morning again. This weekend flew so fast.

Dan was great this entire weekend. He treated me with respect and he didn't even cross any boundaries. Even though I was teasing the poor man with every chance I got.

He has self-restraint over his body. Whilst I could not resist his charms. He just found a gentle way to turn me down.

After spending this weekend with him. I am starting to believe that I might have misjudged him.

He is a good man, he was very attentive, gentle and not to forget the added bonus that he has a great sense of humour.

OMG, I am falling in love with Dan Carter. This is not good.

"You will not make me wait 3 years before we live together angel eyes. I am barely holding on right now."

Dan's words from Sunday afternoon before I left his apartment. These words keep playing on my mind. We kissed for a long time and Dan just didn't want me to go back to my apartment.

I don't know, I just think it's too soon. I am so confused.

We need to take this slow. I don't want to rush things and regret it.

My cellphone beeps signalling an incoming text message.

"Good morning beautiful. Just making sure you are awake and will be on time for work."

He adds a heart emoji.

I don''t know what this emoji means. He sent one last night as well when he was wishing me goodnight. Does it mean that he is in love with me.

No, can't be. Too soon.

"lol" I reply and I add a smiley emoji.

"I will miss having you all to myself."

"Me too." I reply and I include the emoji with kisses.

He replies with a lot more kisses as well.Texting Dan is addictive.

"Stop texting me. I need to get ready."

He replies with a sad face and I don't reply because If I keep this conversation active I will be late.

"Rach, you look good today."

Sabrina says as we both get into the lift at the office.

"Thanks Sabrina, you also look great. I love that dress you have on. You must give me tips of the best boutiques in this city. "

"Don't worry girl, I got you."

"Yah, I will definitely hold you to that. I need a change of wardrobe."

"Good weekend? You are literally glowing."

I blush. It is that obvious.

"Yes, I did Sabrina."

"Is it the mystery friend you had lunch with?"

"Yes, we have upgraded our relationship status to boyfriend and girlfriend as of this weekend."

"Wow that explains the glow."

"And you, how was your weekend?"

"Not particularly great, I met my boyfriend's family. It is safe to say that I will have a monster in law and not a mother in law. That's if we end up getting married. At the moment, his mother is my worst nightmare"

We both laugh.

The lift arrives at Sabrina's floor. "Are you in the office today?"

I ask her.

"Yes, I am only going out to a client tomorrow. See you at lunch then."
