Ally's POV

He is different. Liam is very different from the last time I saw him. During our 'interview', he talked in a careless matter. The way he was unprepared - tucking his shirt in and keeping his collar up - when he was at the door was unlike him. Not to mention the long beard he grew and his hair down to his neck. And he suspects that I was the one who change? He seems to be the one who changed the most. I wish I knew what happened to him.

I shake those thoughts away and kill the engine. I see four servants - two boys and two girls - coming out of the mansion. I got out of the car and greet them, "Hi, everyone."

"Hi," one of the girls greets. "I'm Mabel." She introduces the others. "This is Lizzie. And the two guys beside her are Richie and Nate." Mabel was a red head. She has fair skin and beautiful green eyes. Lizzie is blonde and around my height. Her green eyes compliments the freckles on her cheek. Richie was tall and skinny. He had dirty blonde hair. And Nate was a well built, dark skin guy. No hair accompany his head, but he still remained handsome. Mabel asks, "How may we assist you?"

I pointed to the back trunk. "May you guys please help me carry my suitcases?" I lead them to the back and open the trunk up. They begin to unload.

I pull one out, but Nate interferes and holds the suitcase. "Ms. Hernandez, we got it."

"No, I can help," I said.

Nate shakes his head, a little shaky. "No, if Mr. Payne finds out, he will get mad. Please, just step aside and let us do our work."

I nod my head and wonder. I don't get how they can be intimidated by Liam. Liam was the kindest guy I've ever met. It was one of my favorite qualities about him.

I step aside and watch them carry my suitcases inside. I follow them in with Lizzie carrying the last suitcase. We pass the living room and climb up the stairs. Mabel lead the way to my room. It was the same room as I resided in years ago.

"Miss, where do you want your suitcase to be place?" Mabel asks.

"You can set them by the bed," I answer.

They all left my five suitcases there. Three suitcases were my clothes. The other two were filled with my other personal items. I hear the door close behind me. I turn around and see the four of them gone.

I walk around the room and notice the changes. There was a door that led to the bathroom. My own personal bathroom. There is a window view I can look out now. I walk to it and see the pool in the backyard. There was a fence surrounding it. Farther from view were the woods. The leaves were still green. But some leaves were beginning to fall.

There was a knock on the door. I turn around and see Lizzie peeking her head in. "Excuse me, Ms. Hernandez. Mr. Payne wants you to join him for dinner."

"Alright, Thank you," I said. I give her a smile, and she returns it. She pokes her head out and closes the door.

I look at my suitcases and bedsheets before I walk out of my room. The hallway echoed my footsteps, leaving chills on my spine as I walk. No light bulbs were inserted, so the hallway was dark, which made it a bit spookier.

I trot down the stairs and walk into the dining room. The lights were on but dimmed. Liam sat at the end of the table with his beard fluffed. His arms rested on the table. His eyes grew impatient. He looked tired.

I put on a smile and greet him, "Hi."

His eyes dart at me, and I can see the irritation in his eyes. He rolls them slightly and straightens his back. "Took you long enough," he mumbles. He gestures his hand at the chair across from him. "Come. Take a seat."
