Ally's POV

I cringe a little at the dimness of the room. I feel the cold morning air hit my bare skin, and I lift my head from Liam's chest and take in my surroundings. The candles blew out, but there was some light creeping in from the corners.

I smile, remembering every detail of last night. We moved a lot when we slept. And this was one of the first nights that I slept peacefully without fearing the dark. Maybe because I had my light sleeping next to me.

I prop my hand on the mattress and gaze at his restful eyes. I lean down and kiss him on the cheek. His eyes open, and he wraps his around me, leaving me inescapable. He rolls himself on top.

"Good morning, my love," I greet.

"Morning, sweetheart," he replies. He connects our lips, and I savor them with a moan. Beautiful butterflies grow in my stomach, and my heart flutters. I giggle as he nibbles on my neck, tickling my nerves.

I lift his head for a moment, and his eyes glow. "I have a proposal," he begins.

"What?" I ask, feeling my heart pounding in my chest.

"How about we spend the weekend away from here?" He suggested. "Just you and me. Bear's with his friend's family trip for the next couple of days, and it's only a couple of weeks until Harry's wedding. It will be fun."

"When? Today?" I question. He nods his head without a doubt.

"We can make it a day if you want," he says.

I smile. "Any day will be good as long as I'm with you," I said.

He grins. "Alright," he says, trying to hold his excitement.

He gets up, and I sit up and grab my clothes. I hand Liam his clothes, and we put them on. Once we were done, Liam and I leave the shed and walk to the mansion.

As I begin to walk, Liam sweeps me off his feet, and I wrap my arms around him for support, letting out a small shriek, and ask, "What are you doing?"

"Carrying you to the house, milady," he answers as if we're married. "My princess is too precious to walk."

I coo and bury my head in his neck. He carries me to the front porch in his arms and knocks on the door. After a couple of seconds, the door opens, revealing Will on the other side. Our smile fades as Will's scowl killed the mood.

Liam slowly sets me down on my feet and lets me go in first, and he followed me in shortly. Will closes the door. The three of us headed into the living room, where we sat on the couch. Liam and I occupy one couch while Will sat across from us. I could feel the tension in the room, and I was trying my best to not let it influence me. Will looked worn out and exhausted. His eyes were dead. There was an awkward silence for a while until he clears his throat. "So...all the words that I spoke meant nothing to you?"

I shake my head slowly and reply, "Will, you don't understand. Whatever you say can't change the way that I feel."

He nods his head. "I know damn well of that," he says. "But I tried. I tried to win you over. I tried to tell you. But you don't do what I want. For a moment, I thought I finally won. We were going to go back, and I can finally show you what you were missing out on, but when I turn my back, there, I see you sleeping with the other dude."

My eyes widen as I flush. Liam and I exchange a look. "What?" I question. "Were you spying on us?"

"Well, it's not like it was not obvious," Will says. "Tell me, what did he do to make you sleep with him? The entire night?"

"Liam is in this room. You don't have to refer to him as a third party," I rebuttal.

Liam pats my arm and I turn to him. "Liam, you don't have to sit here and listen to him. I've got it handled."

"Are you sure?" he raises his brow slightly.

I nod my head assuringly. He whispers, "I'll stay close by, just in case." I smile, and he stands and walks out.

After he left, I look at Will, shaking my head. "What are you doing? First, this isn't even your house, and you're acting like you're the owner. I don't get why you're so oppose to me being with Liam."

"Liam is not only some other guy," Will rebuttals, "He was the guy who broke your heart. He doesn't deserve you, and he knows that. And admit it, you know you ruined his life ever since you left him in the first place."

My brows furrow. I recall Liam saying those exact words to me the other day. Will talked to Liam beforehand. That's why Liam punched and kicked him. That's why Liam was so angry with me. "You..." I mumble at first. "You told Liam that, didn't you?"

His eyes lower in guilt. I respond, "That's why Liam said those things. That's why he believed in those words. You made him believe he wasn't good enough, and that I was the one who ruined his life."

"I mean," he lifts his head, "you're acting as if it's not true."

I nod my head. "I will admit that I did, maybe, change his life. But the other stuff is not true." Will snickers, which fuels my anger. I swallow and breathe calmly. "If you hate Liam just because of your feelings, then I have no idea how to make it clearer. And if you're just here to force me to go with you, then you're just wasting your time."

He shakes his head. "Ally, I'm not here to force you to go with me. I'm here to tell you that your father had another heart attack." My heart shot out in my chest.

"What?" I mumble.

"The doctor said that he was close to passing," he continues. "I know you probably won't believe me, but it's true. He wants you to come home." My mouth drops a little. "There's some time left for his surgery. But he wants to see you before his time is up."

Will stands up from the couch and walks pass me. He rests his hand on my shoulder, squeezing it a little as I stare at the ground, panicking from the inside. He lets go, and I hear the door opening and closing.

My legs were paralyzed, and my eyes puff. I couldn't find the strength to stand from my numb legs, and a pit grew in my stomach. I've been thinking about him in the back of my mind, but I didn't think this would happen. I have to see him now.

I feel someone taking a seat beside me. By his touch, I knew it was Liam. He wraps his arm around me and pulls me into his chest. He rubs my arm, softly speaking, "Hey. I heard what happened. I am sorry."

Tears break pass my waterline as I continue to stare at the ground, having a lot on my mind. Liam blows a kiss on the top of my head. "You want to go see him?" He asks.

I nod my head in response, feeling my throat dry as a lump grows in it.

I can't lose my dad. I'm not ready. I will get the money, and I will get him out of this state. He will be fine. Hold on, Dad.
