Liam's POV

Bang!

I hold Ally tight in my arms as I squeezed my eyes shut. I didn't want to fight. I know I'd lose, so it's better if I gave myself up. I thought I would feel something. A pain infliction. But there was nothing.

Suddenly, I feel her hands loosening on me. I open my eyes and looked at her. Her eyes were still closed. Did he...? I look at her and wonder if she felt the bullet. There was nothing that I saw. Maybe that was just a warning trigger...

Ding!

I lift my head and see Victor collapsed on the ground, holding the back of his head and cursing. The gun slid a few feet away from him. I shift my eyes at the gate of the cell and saw the people I never thought would come.

"Need a little help, mate?" Zayn asks. Standing next to him was Harry.

I let out a breath of relief. I turn back to Ally and shake her, but she didn't wake up. "Ally?" I mumble. I shake her once more, and I grew terrified once her eyes didn't open. I felt her pulse and, for a moment, felt nothing, but then a pump vibrated, and I was relieved more than ever. She's okay. She's okay.

My eyes look at her dry lips, and her pale skin was practically kind of blue. I kiss her forehead and look at Harry and Zayn. "Can you guys take her?" I ask.

They nod their head. I pull myself up to my feet along with Ally and carry her into Zayn's arms. "Please watch her for me."

"What are you going to do?" Harry asks.

"I have to take care of someone first," I answer.

Zayn shakes his head, but I reassure him that I wasn't going to do anything extreme. I hope not, actually. "Meet us in the car. Niall and Louis are holding up the servants and guards," Zayn explains. I nod my head, and they walk out.

I clench my fist and dart my eyes on Victor, who was sitting up. He was too busy worrying about his head. I walk to the gun and pick it up. I stood in front of Victor, and he trails his eyes until they meet mine. He raises his hands in defense. "Please, don't hurt me."

"Why?" I ask. "You hurt the person I love, and I can't do the same?"

His hands shake as I point the gun at him. "P-p-please, I beg you," he says.

I chuckle. "I begged you and your servants to let my 'nanny' out, but you didn't. I begged for you to give her food, but you didn't. So why should I show you any mercy?"

He whimpers as tears flow in his eyes. I could see the fear shaking behind them. "Please," he whines.

I load the gun. "Have you done anything to her father?" He remained silent. I wag the gun in front of him, and he shakes his head.

"N-n-n-no," he answers. "And I will call them off if you let me go."

I aim at his hand. I was more willing to pull the trigger, but Ally's words came to my mind at the moment. She told me not to harm anyone for her, and I will, for this moment. I shift the gun a little and pull the trigger. He screams and covers his ears. It takes him a second to figure what happened. I look at the black mark on the wall. "You missed?" He says.

"Next time, I won't," I said. "And I'm only showing you mercy because she wished it."

I drop the gun and walk out of the building. The sun blinded me for a second, and I felt the heat on my skin. I hadn't notice my skin was paler than usual. I only made it a couple of feet before I felt myself getting tired. I hear footsteps approaching me, and I look at them, but my vision began to blur. "Liam, come on, let's go," I hear Niall's voice.

I nod my head and see him standing in front of me. I grab his shoulder for support and begin to walk, but my energy gave out. The next thing I knew, I dropped to the floor, and it hurts.

My eyes open, and I cringe at the brightness. I feel my body a little worn out and dehydrated. I look at the ceiling and knew I was in the hospital. I look over to my right and saw Zayn, Louis, and Niall. Louis was sleeping on the couch. Niall was sitting on the floor, thinking. Zayn leaned against the wall, deep in thought. His eyes turn to me once he sees me trying to move my legs.

"Liam, you're finally awake," he says with relief. Niall turns to look at me. He stands up, and the two of them approach me and stood beside the bed.

"How long have I been sleeping?" I ask.

"About four days now," Zayn answers.

I crease my brows, remembering what happened last time. "Ally!" I exclaim. "Where is she? Is she okay?"

"She's fine," Zayn says. "She's next door, still getting treated. She hasn't woke up yet. She is still recovering, and the doctors said that she needed plenty of rest and warmth."

"I want to see her," I said.

"You have to rest first," Zayn says.

"That wasn't a request," I said, uncovering the sheets and pulling out the needle from my hand.

"Liam," Niall begins, blocking my path, "Listen to Zayn. We know that you care, but you have to take care of yourself first if you want to see her. She would want that."

I rebuttal, "And you know what she wants? Get out of the way." I push to the side and slowly got up but feel a rush in my head. I fell back back, sitting and holding onto the mattress.

"See, look what we just told you," Zayn says. "Lay back down and rest. Ally is okay. I can reassure you on that."

I unwillingly agree, feeling the ache in my head growing. I laid back down and toss the sheets around me. The ache begins to ease. "If I'm going to be stuck here, do you mind explaining how in the world you guys knew we were held captive?"

"Ah, your servants - Richie and Nate - escaped," Niall begins. "They called us, and when we heard of the urgent news, we knew we had to come. The girls came as well. They are with Ally. Harry is with Normani at the moment. They are getting snacks for us and the girls." I nod my head. "Ally is in good hands, so don't worry."

"I'm not," I said more calm. Within a second, a plan came to my mind. I needed to stay calm so that they won't suspect a thing. We continue talking until Harry and Normani came back to hand Zayn, Louis, and Niall a snack while I wasn't given one because it can't benefit my situation at the moment. I needed to eat something nutritious instead of junk. At least, that's what Harry claimed.

Soon enough, night was reached, and my patience paid off. Everyone was asleep. Louis remained on the couch. Zayn slept on the chair. Niall and Harry went to my house to rest. I uncover the sheets and touch the ground with my feet. I prop my arms off the bed and stood on my feet. I quietly walk out of the room and see the only door beside mine. I walk to it and open the door.

As I enter the room, I saw Camila and Dinah resting on the couch. Camila slept with her knees on her chest while Dinah spread her legs, taking the majority of the space. I look over at Ally, laying on the bed. I see her lips less dried, the circles around her eyes became less visible, and her skin grew more color.

I pull up a chair silently and sat beside her. I gently touch her arm and feel her warmth. Her skin warmed me up and fill the void in my stomach. I smile and watch her sleep. I want her to wake up badly right now, so I can talk to her. We both made it out. And we're going to be okay. I refresh the words we exchange earlier, and it made me happy. It took ten years for us to finally admit it. I don't want to waste another moment. I grasp her hand in mine and hold it until I was forced to go back by the doctor.
