Liam's POV

I let out a growl, slamming my hands against the table before I punch a fist against it. I smack my head, increasing the ache in my head. I yelp and groan. I shake my head a couple times to get rid of the ache, but it didn't disappeared.

What is wrong with me?

I turn over and see the door swing opened. My eyes widen, remembering Ally had stormed out. I froze, trying to ease the ache in my head. But it didn't wear off. I ran out of the room anyway. I had to stop Ally from running away. I didn't mean what I said. I didn't.

I trot down the stairs and pass the living room and dining room and exit the house. Immediately, I was hit by the cold wind, and I catch my breath, feeling the goosebumps rise on my skin. I slip on my sandals and jump in the snow. My feet froze, and I shiver. I look around, trying to find her. She couldn't have been too far, especially in this storm. I hear a thud from afar and turn that direction. Ally fell on the ground, but she picked herself up. Her eyes slowly close, and my nerves jumped. I trudge through the snow, tripping a little.

It took a lot of energy, but I manage to stand before her. Her eyes were shut. I bent down and shook her shoulder. "Ally?" I ask. She didn't respond. I shake her once more and call for her, but she didn't reply.

I slide my arms around her back and under knees and carry her in my arms. I look around and feel the familiarity. I turn my attention to the woods and see the shed a couple feet in. It was a lot closer than the house, and I need to talk to her once she wakes.

I carefully walk through the woods, ignoring the cold and the snow hitting my arms. We made there in no time. When I open the door, everything was pitch black except for the light from the open the door. I rest Ally down on the mattress that in the corner of the floor. I carefully use my senses and grab a lighter from the shelf. I turn on the lighter and find the candle. I light up five candles on the wall that lights up the shed. I installed a fireplace a couple years ago. I light the wood and feel the warmth hitting my skin. I also felt the damp of my shirt and pants from the melted snow, and so was Ally's. I push the bed closer to the fireplace so Ally could receive some warmth. I adjust her position and put a blanket over her. I take a seat the edge of bed and observe the shed.

This shed was used a storage room, but ever since I worked here, I turn this shed into my own little personal space to think and cool down. No one knows about. And if they did, they knew it was better to just leave me be. I put a mattress in here for the times I have fallen asleep, and I put a fireplace for cold winters like these. There is no electricity because I don't use the shed as much. But it helped me a lot. There was a drawer of spare clothes. I grab two sets of clothing. One for me and one for Ally. Unfortunately for her, I only had my clothes.

I didn't know how long it would be until she woke, but she seemed to resting heavily. So I fix the sheets on her, so I wouldn't invade her privacy. I take off her shoes. I close my eyes and run my hands under the sheets. I remove her wet clothes except her undergarments and toss them aside. I close my eyes tightly as I try to fix on a t-shirt and sweatpants on her. I open my eyes, seeing her fully clothed under the sheets and sigh in relief.

It was my turn. I remove my damp shirt and jeans and slip into a red sweater and gray sweatpants. I toss my wet clothes next to hers.

I bent down and adjust the blanket around her. I touch her forehead to make sure she wasn't running a fever, and she wasn't. Her rosy cheeks brought a smile upon me. I caress her soft cheek softly and feel chills running down my spine. She looks so peaceful, and I kind of missed seeing her sleep. There was always something with her in this state that just made me soft and vulnerable. I couldn't describe it.
