Delilah

It has been a few days since the fight with Quinn and mr. Taylor. Ethan, Gray and I decided to get my clothes and other belongings today, so that meant we will fly back to New York. It was a short flight, but I still wanted to stay at home with them, and just relax.

"You know, instead of going back and forth from state to state, we can just stay a night in my apartment in New York?" I asked out of a sudden as we got ready to go to the airport.

"Well... I'd love to take some rest instead of hurrying." Ethan said as he looked at Grayson. I saw Grayson was thinking about it, but knowing Gray he would totally agree.

"Fine, grab some clothes." Gray said eventually and I laughed at him. I knew he would agree. I immediately ran back to the guest room and grabbed some stuff, like my hairbrush, a toothbrush and other stuff I needed for the night. I heard a knock on my door and as I turned around I saw Ethan standing there.

"Hey," Ethan said as he slowly walked further into my room. I wiped a hair stroke out of my face as I watched his moves. He sat down on my bed and I slowly said down besides him, he acted a bit strange, like something was off. "How are you and Gray?" Ethan asked as he slowly looked into my eyes. I saw how lost he was in his eyes, and I now knew for sure something was off.

"Well, we're good, I guess. Why?" I asked him as I frowned a bit. Ethan seemed a bit stressed now and I knew he probably had a hard time telling me what was wrong. "You can tell me, E." I said as I laid a hand on his shoulder.

"Well," Ethan said as he looked from me to his hands, and then back to me. "Before... Before you came back to us, Grayson used to be gone for days. I didn't knew where he was, but I had a gut feeling he was doing some bad stuff. I never asked him where he went because I knew he would have told me it's none of my business. But recently, since you're here he hasn't gone away ever since, I thought. But I found out he sneaks out in the middle of the night, so he looked like he was back at being normal again, being the old Grayson." Ethan explained me and I was listening to him carefully. It all seemed so odd for me, because it didn't sound like the Grayson I know.

"What do you want me to do?" I asked him softly and our eyes met again.

"I know I shouldn't ask you this, but I was hoping you could ask him where he goes, and if he asks how you know you could say you heard him leave?" Ethan asked and I saw the concern in his eyes. I bit on the inside of my lip as he probably indeed shouldn't ask me this. But this story concerns me as well, and I would do anything to get my Grayson back. "Forget what I said, it's a stupid plan." Ethan suddenly said as he stood up and ran a hand through his hair out of frustration.

"No, no! I will do it." I said as I grabbed him by his arm and slowly pulled him back on my bed. Ethan's eyes began to sparkle, and I figured he probably had hope again that he will sook get his twin brother back.

"Really?" Ethan asked and I slowly nodded my head at him.

"Really." I said to him to give him more confirmation. Ethan immediately pulled me into a tight hug and I laughed at him. "That's enough, E. I can't breath." I said as I could feel my lungs getting drained from the last bits of air as Ethan tightened his grip. Eventually he let go and I saw he had tears in his eyes.

"Thank you, Delilah. You're an angel." He said and I gave him a small smile as a response. Ethan stood up again and he slowly left my room. I let out a deep sigh as I ran a hand through my hair. How on earth was I going to do this? I looked at my bag that was fully packed for our little trip to New York. I grabbed the bag and left my room also. I saw the twins were already waiting for me and I grabbed my jacket with a big smile on my face.

"Someone seems happy." Gray said as he opened up the door for me, so I could walk out of the house.

"I indeed am, mr. Dolan." I said as I walked over to Grayson's car. I saw he laughed as he shook his head. I needed to seem not suspicious at all, if I wanted him to tell me where he goes every night. We got into the car and I saw Ethan was looking at me the whole time. If I wanted to know where Grayson went every night, I needed to ask that when we were alone, and not where Ethan is.

Some while later

We were already in the airplane, high up in the air as we were going back to New York. I was watching Gray the whole time, he sat at the end of our row, and Ethan sat in between us. I let my head fall back into the chair as I looked out of the small window. Everything seemed so small from up here... I wish my problems were as small as everything from this view... I could feel something move besides me and as I looked towards it I saw Ethan stumbling down the way to the bathroom. I looked at Gray and saw he was lost in his phone. This was my opportunity to talk with him. I immediately sat down in Ethan's chair as I grabbed Gray's phone away from him.

"What the hell, Delilah!" He immediately shot at me and I laugh at him. I locked his phone and put it away in my pocket.

"I need to talk with you." I said and I saw Grayson raised his eyebrows at me. I took a deep breath in as I looked at him again. "I heard you sneak out in the middle of the night..." I said as I barely spoke above a whisper. Grayson rearranged in his chair so he could look better at me.

"So?" He said and I frowned at him. What?

"So? What do you mean? It's not a common thing to sneak out in the middle of the night." I said as I raised my eyebrows at him. I saw how his eyes turned a few shades darker as I was practically forcing him to answer.

"I don't wanna talk about it, Delilah." Grayson said as he grabbed his phone out of my pocket and ignored me. I let out a deep sigh as I got back into my own seat. This was a lost cause...
