Ethan
Louis and I were doing our hair, trying our best to make us look approachable. Delilah left ten minutes ago to do her own makeup and hair in her room. I took one last glance in the mirror to see if I was satisfied with me look. It could've been better but I think this will succeed. I turned around to look at Louis. I saw he was struggling with his look, mainly because he was used to the bad boy vibe.
"Come here," I told him as I walked over to him. I adjusted his bowtie and look at his arms. A few tattoos were shown below the sleeve and I put off my watch. "Cover it up with my watch, I don't think Mr. Taylor wants a bad boy at his reunion," I said as I handed over my watch to him.
"Thanks, Ethan. For everything," Louis said as he looked into my eyes. I gave him a small smile as I nodded. I walked back to the other mirror and let out a deep sigh. "What do you think Grayson is doing now?" Louis asked and I looked at him through the mirror.
"Probably doing all the bad stuff from your gang, abducting someone, abusing them. Maybe even smoking," I said in a monotone voice. Grayson wasn't my brother anymore, not in this state. I see where his guilt comes from, from when we abandoned Delilah a few years ago. But he could've managed to do the same stuff as me. Delilah forgave us, wasn't that enough for him? "Come on, let's go downstairs," I said to Louis as I walked up to the door, opened it and walked out of the room. This mansion was a maze but I remembered where the stairs were to go downstairs.
"Finally," Mr. Taylor spoke out when he noticed us walking down the stairs. "Louis, you look better then I imagined you would," Mr. Taylor said and I saw Louis was proud of his looks.
"Where is Delilah?" I asked Mr. Taylor. I looked around but I only saw Quinn and Mr. Taylor.
"Probably still upstairs, whenever we have something like this going on she wants everything to look perfect," Mr. Taylor said as he took a sip from his glass of wine. I gave him a small nod as I sat down at a bar stool.
"Ethan, please tell me Delilah could count on you while Grayson let her down," Mr. Taylor said and his looked dead serious into my eyes. I was totally blown away by this question which made me took a second to respond.
"Y-yeah," I said as I frowned a bit to pick up my courage. "Unlike Grayson, I think I'm the better twin at the moment. I would never let her down again like I did a few years ago," I said and Quinn handed me over a glass of wine. She and Louis sat down on another bar stool, listening to my conversation with Mr. Taylor.
"Was it worth leaving her for you career?" Quinn asked out of a sudden and my eyes widened immediately. I kind of deserved this question, since she was Delilah's best friend and she just wanted the best for her. My face dropped as I tried to come up with the right words.
"Over these passed few years Grayson and I have achieved many goals in our lives. We won awards, bought our own house and got million of subscribers. But there was always missing something and that caused me to enjoy it less then I should. Delilah should've been there with us," I explained to them and finally had the courage to look at them again. I saw Quinn and Mr. Taylor looking at each other.
"You're forgiven and accepted," Mr. Taylor said and it made me frown at him. "It means we like you and believe you," He said after he rolled his eyes at me. I gave him a small smile as I felt my phone buzz in my pocket. I grabbed it and saw I had three missed calls from Grayson and two messages. I let out a deep sigh as I put my phone back in my pocket.
"I think we're ready to go," I heard from the stairs and we all looked at the direction. Delilah walked down the stairs and my jaw dropped immediately. She was breath taking in her red dress and her hair and makeup. She looked like the Goddess of love...
"You look mesmerizing, love," Mr. Taylor said as he stood up from the bar stool and walked over to her. I saw Delilah's cheeks flush as he kissed her on the cheek.
"Are you guys together?" Louis asked as we all saw how intimate they were. Delilah's eyes widened as she shook her head immediately.
"No, God no! He's my best friend, Louis," Delilah defended herself and denied dating Mr. Taylor. I chuckled at her as we all stood up and made our way towards the door.
"Oh, Ethan," Mr. Taylor said as he walked up towards me. I looked towards him as I waited for him to talk. "Call me Kyle tonight, I'm a friend tonight, not an enemy," He said and I nodded at him.
"I never saw you as an enemy," I said to him and he smiled at me. He grabbed his car keys and we all walked out of the house towards the car. Delilah came walking besides me and I looked at her slightly.
"I'm happy you're here, E," Delilah said and smiled brightly at her. We all got into the car and I looked over at Louis, his tattoos were covered well and I knew Delilah felt good about it. For all I've heard this party was actually a family reunion, so we needed to be at our best behaviour. I looked at Delilah and I knew I needed to behave myself tonight, I needed to make her happy.
