Delilah

I just pulled up at the garage of Kyle's home. It was the one he gave me a picture of when I picked up my things in my old apartment. Ethan was on the passengers seat and Louis was in the backseat. I let out a deep sigh when I turned off the car and looked at Ethan. I gave him a small smile as I thought of how he left Grayson behind in Los Angeles to spend time with me. I knew I shouldn't think about that too long since it was one pm now and Kyle would be here in two hours.

"Let's get ready," I said as I got out of the car. Louis and Ethan followed me as I walked towards the front door. First we had to walk up the stairs to get to the front door. Let's say Kyle never buys anything small.

"Thanks for having us, Delilah," Ethan said as I unlocked the front door. I gave him a small smile as I nodded.

"I was wrong to leave you behind when I left. You did nothing wrong," I said as I walked into the house. I laid my keys on the drawer beside the door and I put off my coat. I hung it over a chair in the kitchen as I grabbed a wineglass and poured it with white wine.

"I already made some lunch," I heard someone say from the living room in front of me. The living room and kitchen were in the same room and it was a big space. I looked up and saw Quinn standing at the couch. On the table there were four plates with sandwiches. "Kyle told me you'd bring visitors," Quinn explained as I was frowning at the plates. It made sense now.

"We can give you two some time?" Ethan asked as he noticed the awkward tension in the room. I took a sip from my wine as I shook my head at him. I wouldn't make a scene and I knew Quinn wouldn't either. This was the first time I saw her since I got back and to be honest, I didn't know where we stood.

"It's fine, Ethan. I do not have the rights to judge Delilah for her decisions. But I do have the rights to ask her if she won't ever make the same mistakes again," Quinn said as she walked over to the kitchen. She leaned on the kitchen counter which I stood opposite of. My face dropped since I couldn't even look at her. I treated her like an enemy while she only wanted to help me and be there for me.

"I'm sorry," I whispered to her as I slowly looked up to her again. Her hand travelled on the kitchen counter towards mine until she held it.

"We're good, Delilah," Quinn said as she smiled brightly at me. I smiled back at her until she let go of my hand and walked towards the living room to grab the plates with sandwiches. "Now, let's eat!" Quinn said in excitement.

While we were eating our sandwiches we discussed everything that had happened the passed few weeks. On some bits we could laugh but on the other hand Quinn really felt sorry for us. It felt good to sit around with the people I love and not being afraid to say something. I heard a key turn in the front door and my eyes immediately scanned my watch. It was two-thirty pm. Kyle was too early...

"Shit, get upstairs!" I whispered to Louis and Ethan as we stood up from the bar stools at the kitchen counter. I threw the last bits of my sandwich away as I looked in panic towards Quinn.

"Don't worry, I will put the plates in the dishwasher and keep him distracted," Quinn whispered to me and I gave her a thankful smile. I grabbed Louis' and Ethan's arm and dragged them upstairs towards Kyle's clothes room. I silently shut the door behind us and let out a relieved sigh.

"Ok, I need to give you a suit that works for you..." I said to myself as my hands travelled down the different suits that Kyle owned. I ignored the ones that still had a price tag on them because Kyle specifically told me they could wear his old suits. "Ok, I was thinking of a black suit for you, E. it makes your skin colour pop out and give you a serious but friendly vibe," I said as I picked out a suit and give it to Ethan.

"What are you now? A fashion designer?" Louis asked as he laughed at me. I shot him a dead glance as I shook my head.

"Tonight we have a family reunion, with lots of paparazzi so I can't let you guys look insane," I said as I gave Louis a dark blue suit. "This suit will match your blue eyes," I said as I walked towards my bag from the store earlier today.

"We need to change here?" Ethan asked and I heard the doubt in his voice. I rolled my eyes at him as I turned around to face him.

"Yes, E. but if you're really uncomfortable you could open a door of a closet and change behind it," I said as I laid my dress on a chair and put off my shoes. "I've seen you in swimming suits, you've seen me in a bikini so I'm fine with changing here," I said as I faced my back towards Ethan and Louis. I slowly put off my shirt and pulled my dress over my head so my bottom was covered when I pulled off my pants.

"Why are you so annoyed?" Ethan asked as he laid his hands on my shoulders. My muscles relaxed by his touched and I let out a deep sigh as I closed my eyes. I slowly turned around to face him as I lightly shrugged my shoulders.

"A lot has happened recently and I'm just tensed all the time," I said and Ethan immediately pulled me into a hug. I smiled against his shoulder and took in his smell.

"I think Mr. Taylor needs us soon so let us do our hair and you your make up," Louis said and I pulled away from Ethan. He was right so I nodded at him. I walked towards the door and turned my face to look at Ethan and Louis.

"Thanks guys, for being here for me," I said and gave them a small smile. "Feel free to come downstairs whenever you're ready," I said before I walked out of the room and closed the door behind me. Everything was under control, if Kyle didn't noticed how long we were taking.
