Lilah

I woke up in Louis' arms. I slowly frowned but it quickly faded away as I remembered what happened yesterday. A sad feeling overwhelmed me and I got out of bed with the soul under my arms. I tried to be as silent as possible since I didn't want to wake Louis up. I quickly grabbed some sweatpants and a shirt to change clothes since I still wore my clothes from yesterday. I immediately remembered that I promised to make Emma some breakfast if she stayed over. I walked over to my bathroom and changed in the more comfortable clothes and silently walked downstairs to the kitchen. The house was so quiet when everyone was still asleep. My thoughts drifted away to Grayson and as I looked around the house I didn't saw his jacket, shoes or car keys. I frowned a bit as I slowly and silently walked over to his room. I softly opened the door but there was no one in the room... I let out a deep sigh as I return back to the kitchen.

"No sign of him, huh?" I heard Ethan say behind me. I jumped a bit since his presence scared me. I thought I was the only one awake. I turned around to face him and slowly shook my head. He must have seen me checking out Grayson's room. "He will come around," Ethan said as he was making coffee. I slowly walked over to the fridge and grabbed some eggs and toast to make breakfast.

"I just hope he's fine," I whispered. The thought of Grayson being in danger frightened me, but I knew he could take care of himself somehow.

"He is," Ethan said. I slowly looked towards him and nodded. I knew he tried to make me feel better but Grayson has been away the whole night and he still isn't back. Ethan handed me over the cup of coffee and I gave him a thankful smile. "Look, I know Grayson has changed a lot these years but his feelings for you never did," Ethan said. I felt guilty right away knowing I was more close to Grayson then I was to Ethan ever since we were friends.

"I'm sorry..." I whispered to him as my face dropped.

"For what? You heart chose him, it's not like you had a choice yourself. You will always be my best friend, Delilah," Ethan said and as I looked into his eyes I saw he meant every word of it. "Don't ever feel sorry for that," Ethan said as he took my coffee and put it on the counter. He pulled me into a hug and held me tightly.

"Thanks, E," I whispered as I buried my face in his neck. It felt good to still be able to rely on Ethan, especially in this time. After a few minutes Ethan and I let go of each other. I grabbed my coffee and took a sip from it before I got ready to make breakfast.

"Want me to help you?" Ethan asked but I slowly shook my head at him as I gave him a small smile. Making breakfast was the most easy thing to do now. After about twenty minutes I had made breakfast for all of us and I got the table ready.

"Can you wake Emma up while I wake up Louis?" I asked Ethan and he immediately left to get to the guest room to Emma. I slowly walked towards my room knowing this will be my first morning with my brother again. As I entered my room I sat down besides Louis and slowly shook him around. "Lou, breakfast is ready," I whispered as I heard a loud groan coming out of his mouth. I laughed lightly as I saw his eyes open up.

"Breakfast huh?" Louis said in a morning voice and I slowly nodded at him. "Any sign from Grayson?" Louis asked and my heart sank immediately as I heard his name. I slowly shook my head as my face dropped. Louis immediately got out of bed as he dragged me with him. "Come on," Louis said as he dragged me downstairs.

"Good morning!" I heard Emma yell in excitement. I laughed at her as it seemed like her excitement never faded away. Her and E were already settled down at the table, waiting for us.

"Hey," I said to her as I smiled. Louis and I sat down beside them at the table as Ethan gave us coffee. "I'm sorry I made you wait," I told Emma. I knew how excited she was to show our new clothes but instead I made her stay the night so we can show it today.

"Don't be, I totally understand why you didn't want to show our clothes yesterday," Emma said. I almost forgot she knew everything about Grayson after I told her yesterday. I let out a deep sigh as I tried to forget about Grayson.

"How about we film today? Showing our new clothes and do a sort of fashion show?" Emma asked and I immediately looked back at her. This was actually a good idea and it meant she would have a video ready for her channel.

"I'm in," I said with a huge smile on my face. Normally I would want to stay out of the spotlight but knowing I was Kyle's assistant and Ethan and Grayson's best friend I could never be out of the spotlight. We all started to eat our breakfast in silence and for the first time I actually enjoyed this silence. No one asked how I felt so I didn't have to lie. No one asked about Grayson so I wouldn't have to pretend I was ok with him just leaving me in the plain cold, again...
