Delilah

A full week had passed and there was still no sign of Grayson. To get my mind off of him I usually hung out with Emma to distract myself but most of the time it didn't work. The video Emma and I filmed together about our new clothes exploded on the internet. Many people wanted to get to know me more as they saw me for the real me now instead of on a picture. For a typical Sunday morning I was sitting on the couch as a dead soul drinking my coffee. Luckily Louis was still over and tried to be there for me most of the time. I grabbed my phone and once again send Grayson a text in the hope he would read it. After a few minutes of staring at my phone I gave up. I threw my phone on the other side of the couch as I buried my face in my hands.

"Still no response?" Ethan asked when he entered the living room. I slowly looked up from my hands as I shook my head. I tried my hardest to hold back my tears but it was too hard. Ethan sat down beside me as he wrapped his arms around me and held me tightly. I softly sobbed against him as I closed my eyes. I can't believe Grayson is gone for over a week because Louis accused him of loving me... I felt Ethan slowly pulling away from me as he grabbed my face with both of his hands. "He will come back and once he is you'll show him he can't pull this off, ok?" Ethan asked as I saw the pity and love in his eyes. I slowly nodded at him as I bit my bottom lip.

"Let's just... I don't know what to do ever since he got away..." I said as I stared in the distance. Ever since Grayson didn't return I felt like lying on the couch or in my bed all day and do nothing. I never thought someone could have this much affect on me...

"Get ready, I'm taking you out for lunch," Ethan said as he held my hand. I looked into his eyes as I wanted to stutter against him but I knew I would break his heart if I did. I slowly nodded at him as I mumbled a soft 'ok'. I slowly stood up from the couch and grabbed my cup of coffee as I walker over to my room. I slowly let out a deep sigh as I picked out some clothes to wear. I decided to keep it simple with a white jeans and a camouflage green crop top. I walked over to my own bathroom and drank all my coffee at once. I looked at myself in the mirror and saw how pale I was. It made my under eye bags come out even more as I my cheekbones were shown worse then before. I looked like a skeleton with just a little bit of skin. I looked down and put my hand on my forehead as I tried to remove the sight of myself out of my mind. I walker over to my shower and turned it on already so it could warm up. I slowly undressed myself. I stepped into the shower and let the hot water run over my naked body as my muscles relaxed for the first time today. I was tensed all the time, jumped over the smallest things.

"Lilah, I was—" Ethan spoke up as he entered my room. As soon as his face looked up to me from his phone he immediately stopped talking and turned around. Both of our eyes widened in shock. "God, I'm so sorry!" Ethan said as he covered his eyes with his hands while he already faced his back towards me.

"It's fine, E," I said as I put the shower off and covered my parts with a towel. "You can turn around," I said and I saw Ethan turn around as his hands rested beside his body.

"Li..." Ethan breathed out as he saw my body, well my legs and arms. When his eyes met mine I saw the tears in his eyes and I immediately bit my lip. I stepped out of the shower as I shook my head at him.

"Please don't..." I whispered as my face dropped. Ethan grabbed my hands and it made me look up to him again. A tear escaped from his eye but he didn't bother to wipe it away.

"How about we have the day for just us two? We can go lunch together, go skating and in the evening we could grab dinner," Ethan said and I saw he tried to hide his sadness. I slowly nodded at him as I breathed in deeply.

"I'd love to..." I whispered to him. He nodded at me before he let go of my hands and left my bathroom quietly. I watched him disappear from my view as I felt like I held my breath the whole time.

After a while I was done getting ready and I took one last glance to myself in the mirror. I tried my best to hide my under eye bags and my paleness. I quickly looked away and decided it was time to head downstairs so Ethan and I could go. "There's my girl," Ethan said to make me smile and it work a bit as my lips curled up. Ethan hugged me tightly which was odd for me since he saw me just thirty minutes ago. I frowned a bit but I still returned the hug. "Are you ready?" Ethan asked as he let go of the hug. I nodded at him and smiled, a real smile.

"As ready as I will ever be," I said as I grabbed his hand. I looked behind Ethan and saw Louis sit on the couch. He hasn't left my side and most of the time he was worried about me instead of worried about himself. All the time when I tried to get Grayson off my mind I would think about what would happen to Louis if his gang is done with his absence.

"It's fine, little sis. I will be ok on my own," Louis said as he must have seen my worried face. I slowly nodded at him as I looked back to Ethan. He gave me a kiss on my forehead before he started talking.

"Come on, let's grab a bite," He said. The moment we were about to walk out of the house the door opened in front of us. Ethan and I both froze to the ground as the door opened up widely and revealed Grayson. Well, Grayson but also not Grayson...

"Missed me?" Grayson said in a deepened voice as he had a smirk on his face. His hair was dyed blond and he had tattoos all over his right arm. My jaw dropped at seeing him as my eyes started to fill with tears.

"Grayson..?" I barely asked above a whisper as my hand loosened from Ethan's grip. I felt like I was dreaming, like I was in some sort of nightmare.

"In the flesh," Grayson said who had still a smirk on his face. He walked into the house and walked passed me and Ethan who were still frozen to the ground. Please tell me I was still dreaming...
