Chapter 13

Jaclyn's POV:

Today is my second week of concerts. Today was a festival so I performed early in the day while everyone was at work. After my set, I packed everything up and sent it home with Tico. It was nice outside so I decided to go for a walk. I decided to walk either home or to the station. Whichever was closer when I got tired of walking.

I was walking down a street downtown when I noticed this guy behind me that was really intoxicated. I carefully kept walking and he made every turn I made. I finally walked through this crowd and lost him. The next thing I know I'm shoved into an alley. It was the guy who had been following me.

Guy: Well hello pretty lady
Jaclyn: Please let go of me.
Guy: What? You can't take a compliment?
Jaclyn: I can but not from people in alleys.
Guy: What the fuck does that mean!?
Jaclyn: Nothing. Just let me leave.
Guy: I don't think so.

He threw me against the brick wall. This guy was at least twice the size of me. I somehow got turned around. He pressed himself up against me and was fumbling with my jeans. I kept trying to push him off and yelling. Then he punched me in the face and held his hand over my mouth. He grabbed me by my hair and yanked me to the other side of the alley. He had got my jeans undone and ripped them down. I was screaming, kicking, yelling, hitting, and doing everything I could to get away from him but I couldn't get out of his grasp. I felt him yank his pants down and push me against the wall trying to muffle me with his arm. I bite his arm and that's when he pulled a knife out and held it against my throat.

Guy: If you scream, kick, or bite me one more time I will kill you.

I nodded and sobbed. He put the knife up and slammed into me. I cried more each time he slammed into me more. I was hoping someone would see him or hear me crying. I wanted to die rather then keep going through this. He kept slapping my ass and licking my shoulders, back, and arms. When he started to slow down I threw my elbow back into his rib as hard as I could causing him to let go halfway of me. I screamed for help and that is when he yanked me back and started biting me. I don't mean like the biting little kids do I mean sinking his teeth into my skin. I screamed in pain and finally someone came running down the alley. Some guy tackled the guy and held him until the cops came. A lady came down the alley and sat with me until the cops got there. When they showed up it was Tanner.

Tanner: Woah. I know her.

He came over and squatted down in front of me.

Tanner: Hey. It's okay. It's just me.
Jaclyn: Please don't touch me.
Tanner: I won't. Can one of the other officers come sit with me right here and let's talk about what happened.
Jaclyn: Okay.

Another officer came over and sat down next to him and pulled a recorded out and started writing notes.

Tanner: Can you tell me what happened?
Jaclyn: I had a show at the festival this afternoon. I packed up my stuff and sent it home with my friend Tico. I decided since it was nice outside to walk home or to the station. I was walking and saw that guy behind me. He was really drunk. I kept walking. I walked through this crowd and felt someone throw me down this alley.

I started to tear up and cry.

Tanner: hey. It's okay. Take your time.
Jaclyn: he said hey pretty girl. He had a tight grip on my wrist. I asked him to let me go. He said "what? You can't take a compliment?"  I said I could but not from people in alleys. He got mad and threw me against the brick wall. He kept pressing himself against me and trying to undo my jeans. I was kicking, screaming, fighting. I was doing everything I could to get him off of me. He grabbed me by my hair and threw me to this side of the alley. He reached around and tried to muffle me with his arm. I bite his arm as hard as I could.
Tanner: what happened next?
Jaclyn: he pulled a knife out and put it against my neck. He said if I kept doing what I was doing he'd kill me. I nodded and cried as he
Tanner: did what sweetie?
Jaclyn: raped me.
