Chapter 50

Jaclyn's POV:

It's been two days since I had lunch with Robert. I invited Andy and Robert to come work out with me this morning while Tyler was in therapy. I was putting my stuff up when they walked in.

Jaclyn: Hey!
Andy: Hey!

They put their stuff down with mine and we started working out. They started theirs that they do at the station and I did mine with my trainer. I ran a mile on the treadmill then did 20 minutes on the stair climber then we did some boxing.

Andy's POV:

Robert and I were lifting some weights when I looked around to see where Jaclyn was and saw her doing some boxing with her trainer. I took a break and watched her. I nudged Robert and kept watching her.

Andy: Look at her.
Robert: Oh my.

She was doing three different combos. Left, right, up, and then stomach. Then up, down, side, and kick, Then the last one was kick, left, right, and double stomach. Her trainer would yell out the first move then she'd do it. Between each one he'd swing and she'd have to duck.

Andy: Holy shit.
Robert: Right. I'd say that's where she got the power behind her swing.
Andy: (chuckles) Uhm yeah.

We watched her for a few minutes then got on the treadmill while we watched her. About 30 minutes later she finished. She high fived him and laid on the floor.

Jaclyn's POV:

After I was boxing I laid on the floor to try and catch my breathe.

Trainer: Weigh in day.

I sighed and got up. We went over to the scale and we did my check in.

Trainer: Down 14 lbs since 2 and 1/2 weeks ago.
Jaclyn: Nice.
Trainer: Once you do a couple more trim down sessions we will start working on muscles if you want.
Jaclyn: Sounds good.

I high fived him and grabbed my water. I wiped my forehead off with my tank top and walked over to where Andy and Robert were.

Jaclyn: Hey.
Andy: Hey. Since when did you start boxing?
Jaclyn: Like 2 or 3 months ago. Really got into it when I started coming every week with Tyler for his therapy.
Andy: You were a freaking beast.
Jaclyn: Thanks.
Robert: Now I know where you got the swing and power from. Remind me not to cross you.

I laughed and sat on a bench and talked to them.

Robert: Have you talked to your dad?

I rubbed my face and sighed.

Jaclyn: No. Has he been calling you?
Robert: Yeah.

I sighed and took a drink of water.

Robert: Hey. My offer still stands.
Jaclyn: I may take ya up on that later today.
Robert: Of course.

I stood up and took a deep breathe. He rubbed my shoulders and patted my back.

Robert: It's gonna be fine.

I nodded and gave him a hug.

Andy: Hey. Let's take a selfie for your mom. She's been worried about ya.
Jaclyn: Okay.

I stood next to Robert and Andy stood on the other side and took a selfie of us. She sent it to me and sent it to mom. Tyler came out from therapy and we all headed to the parking lot.

Robert: Call me later and let me know.
Jaclyn: I will.

I gave them both a hug and we all headed to our cars.
