Chapter 57

Jaclyn's POV:

Today I officially became the VP of the board of directors of the department. After the ceremony I got on a plane with Tyler and headed to Nash for my album release week. When we landed we met Trisha at luggage claim. We grabbed our stuff and headed to the house.

When we got there Tyler and I unpacked and got our bags for New York ready then organized our stuff for the week in Nashville. Tomorrow morning we fly out and go to New York so I can do an interview on the Today Show and perform one of my songs. Once we had everything ready we went into the living room with Trisha.

Trisha: Rae will meet us in New York.
Jaclyn: Okay. We are gonna run and go get something to eat. You wanna come with?
Trisha: No thanks. I need to finish up some calls and all that.
Jaclyn: Want anything?
Trisha: I'm good thanks.

I grabbed my purse and we left. We decided to go to Broadway for lunch. We decided to go to FGL House. When we got there they took us up to the higher level where there wasn't many people at. We were sitting there waiting for our food when Hayley and Tyler walked up.

Jaclyn: Oh my gosh hi!
Hayley: Hey!

I got up and gave them both a hug. They sat down next to us and we all got caught up.

Hayley: Are you ready for release week?
Jaclyn: Yeah. It's the first release week I've really got to have fun with. I have a Today Show performance on Wednesday so we leave tomorrow. Then Thursday when we get back I'm taking new merch and stuff to fans houses around Nash and sending some to the ones who don't live here.
Tyler H: That's awesome.
Jaclyn: I figured this was the perfect album to do that with. It has songs about the ups and downs of life then ones that, I hope, inspire people to rise above whatever is bringing them down in life and to just be happy. I just want my fans to feel happy and be able to connect to it. Plus it has a couple faith based songs in there from my grandpas passing, my dads accident, and even Tyler's accident.
Hayley: That's awesome. By the way I'm so glad you're doing better.
Tyler: Thank you. It's been a rough road but we are getting back to normal.

We sat and caught up until our food got here.

Tyler H: Well we will let you guys eat. Congrats on release week.
Jaclyn: Thank you.

They headed out so Tyler and I ate. After lunch we ran to the store and picked up a few things before going back to the house. When we got back I went up to the room and showered. I was drying my hair when Tyler came in.

Tyler: Hey. 
Jaclyn: Hey. 

He gave me a kiss before getting into the shower. I finished drying my hair then went and climbed into bed. 

Tyler's POV:

When I got out of the shower I dried off and threw on some shorts then went into the room. Jaclyn was curled up to a pillow almost asleep. I threw my clothes in the hamper and crawled into bed. 

Jaclyn's POV:

I woke up around 5 and Tyler wasn't in bed. I threw my hair in a pony tail and went out into the living room and found Trisha.

Trisha: Hey 
Jaclyn: Hey. Have you seen Tyler?
Trisha: Out back. He's grillin.
Jaclyn: Thanks.

I grabbed a jacket from the chair and put it on. I walked to the back porch and slid the door open. I stepped out and shut the door. Tyler looked over and smiled.

Tyler: Mornin beautiful.
Jaclyn: Morning.

I walked over and gave him a kiss. I sat down on the patio chair and leaned back.
