Chapter 65

Jaclyn's POV:

I woke up with Tyler's arms wrapped around my hips. I slipped out of bed and slid on a pair of shorts. I walked down the hall and went pee then brushed my teeth. I walked back down the hall to the room. Tyler was starting to wake up. I crawled back into bed and straddled his lap. He rubbed his face and looked at me smiling.

Tyler: Well good morning.
Jaclyn: Good morning.

I leaned down and gave him a kiss. He laid his hands on my hips while I ran my hands up his neck to the nape of his neck. I smiled while we kept kissing.

Jaclyn: Let's go get something to eat.

He smiled while I got up. He slapped my ass as I climbed out of bed. I looked back over my shoulder and smiled. I grabbed his shirt off the floor and tossed it to him. I walked down the hall and knocked on dad's door.

Jaclyn: You awake?
Jack: Yeah.
Jaclyn: Going to the diner for breakfast.
Jack: Okay.

I went back to my room and got dressed. (Outfit above) Once we all were ready we headed over to the diner. I opened the door and walked in and Miss. Mayberry was working.

MM: Well hello honey!
Jaclyn: Good morning May.
MM: Who's this other handsome fella with you today?
Jaclyn: This is my dad Jack. Dad this is Miss. Mayberry.
Jack: Nice to meet you.
MM: Nice to meet you. Y'all go sit wherever you want.
Jaclyn: Thanks.

I put my hand on her back as we walked back to a booth. I grabbed menus from the counter as we walked past.

MM: Jaclyn Marie!
Jaclyn: I got you Miss. Mayberry.
MM: Girl.
Jaclyn: Oh hush. You're fine.

We sat down and looked at the menu's. May came over and handed us waters.

MM: I'll leave y'all to take a look at the menu.
Jaclyn: Thanks May.
MM: Anytime sugar.

She smiled and walked off. She came back a few minutes later and took our order. We were sitting there when she walked past us.

Jaclyn: Miss. Mayberry, come sit with us?
MM: Darlin, I've got work to do.
Jaclyn: I'm pretty sure you can sit down for a minute.
MM: Fine.

I scooted over and she sat down next to me.

MM: How much longer are you in town?
Jaclyn: We leave tomorrow night.
MM: Well you better come down here more often.
Jaclyn: I'm pretty sure I will be.

I smiled and laid my head against hers. We sat there and talked for awhile. May would tell dad and Tyler stories about me when I was younger.

MM: This girl was such a mess growing up.
Jaclyn: I still am.
MM: (laughs) I looked out these diner windows one day and saw this girl riding a dang horse. No saddle. Nothing!
Jack: (chuckles) You're kidding.

I laughed and put my head in my hand.

MM: Oh gosh no! I going running out there and yell "Jaclyn Marie what do you think you are doing!?". Mind you that she was like 10.

They both looked at me shocked. I chuckled and listened to her tell the story.

MM: In her sweet little innocent voice goes, "Miss. Mayberry he was just walking on the road. I just wanted to ride."

Tyler and dad busted up laughing.

MM: I had to explain to her (starts laughing) we can't just ride random damn horses.
Jaclyn: What about the time Tico and I fell in the pond and got leeches on us.
Jack: Leeches? What are those?
Jaclyn: They are these most disgusting slimy things. They are like worms but they are fat and suck blood from other animals to survive.
