Chapter 53

Jaclyn's POV:

We got home a couple days ago from Nashville. Tyler and I stayed a couple more days then everyone else. Today is when Robert is gonna propose to Andy. He had to reschedule it because something happened with the photographer. I showed up at their house around 9.

Jaclyn: hellooooo???
Andy: office!

I walked inside and went into the office.

Andy: give me a sec. I'm just putting this stuff up.

I stood against the door and waited.

Jaclyn: let's go girlfriend.
Andy: fine. Fine.

We got in my car and went to the nail salon.

Jaclyn: I'm so excited. You're gonna do your nails finally.
Andy: I guess.
Jaclyn: it'll be fun! We can do a neutral kind of color.

We went inside and sat down. I helped her pick out a color and then picked mine out. She got gel and I got dip. When it was over we and got something to eat for lunch then went back to their house.

Andy: where's Robert?
Jaclyn: dad (Lucas) said they were gonna hang out today.
Andy: gotcha.
Jaclyn: since I got you on the girly train let me do your hair and make up.
Andy: what?
Jaclyn: I wanna do your hair and make up. Come onnnn.
Andy: fine.

We went into her bathroom and I sat her down on a bar stool. I sectioned her hair and started curling her hair. After her hair was done I did her make up. I did a neutral but still girly and glittery. I set her face and we both changed. I told her we were gonna go to a nice dinner. I pulled into the parking lot of the trail and she looked at me really confused.

Andy: what are we doing here?
Jaclyn: I figured we could go for a walk before dinner. It's really nice outside.
Andy: okay.

We got out and headed up to the trail. We were close to the top when I started recording. We got up to where Robert was and she stopped in her tracks.

Andy: what are you doing here?
Robert: well hello to you too.

I smiled and stepped to the side near a tree.

Robert: Andrea Herrara. You have waltzed into my world and completely turned it around. You've made me a better man and showed me how to love and love hard. I can't imagine my life at all without you.

He got down on one knee and opened the ring box.

Robert: Andy, will you marry me?

She had tears in her eyes and her hand over her mouth.

Andy: yes. A million times yes.

They both were smiling with tears in their eyes. He slid the ring on her finger and got up. I quit recording and they kissed each other. They let go of each other and Andy looked at the ring.

Andy: oh my god it's gorgeous.

They stood there and talked for a second then Robert looked over at me and opened his arm. I walked over and gave him a hug.

Jaclyn: Congratulations!!
Andy: you got me good. Thank you.

She leaned over and gave me a hug.

Andy: thank you for coming.
Jaclyn: I wouldn't wanna be anywhere else.
Robert: thanks for helping me pull this off.
Jaclyn: of course.

We all took a selfie together where Andy had her hand up in the air with her ring. We walked back down to the parking lot.

Jaclyn: so I take it you figured we aren't going to dinner.
Andy: no shit Sherlock. I get it now.

We all talked in the parking lot for a few minutes then I headed home. When I got home mom was in the living room with Stella. I walked over and took her from her.
