Chapter 85

Tyler's POV:

Today we are going to Jack's for dinner. Vic, Lucas, and Jo are gonna be there. We decided to go to the fire station today. Before we got there Jaclyn put Magnolia in her outfit Travis got her that says "My mom is taken but Uncle T is not.". When we got to the station Robert was heading in. He stopped and came over to the car.

Robert: Well hello!
Jaclyn: Hey!

He walked over and gave Jaclyn a hug.

Robert: What's up man?
Tyler: Nothing much. You?
Robert: Nothing much. Same old same old.
Tyler: (chuckles) I feel that.

I got Magnolia out of the car and carried her inside. Everyone was out on a call so we sat in the lounge upstairs. Magnolia was a little fussy while Robert held her. He leaned back in the chair and had her on his chest. He patted her back softly and sat there with her until she fell asleep.

We were in the middle of talking when we heard everyone come back. We were sitting there when Andy walked past then did a double take.

Andy: (jaw dropped) Oh my God!!!

She walked in and hugged Jaclyn then me.

Andy: What are you guys doing here!?
Jaclyn: We figured it was time she met some family.
Andy: Aww.

She walked over to Robert and crouched down and looked at Maggie.

Andy: Look at her.
Robert: Don't get any ideas. She's mine.

She looked at him and scrunched her eye brows.

Andy: I have to change either way.

We all laughed and she left. A few minutes later Vic and Jack came in.

Jack: Alright. Give me the baby.
Robert: Here ya go.

He stood up and handed her over to him. Jack immediately looked at Robert with a smartass look.

Jack: You handed her off because she needs a diaper change.
Robert: Yep. You're turn.
Jaclyn: I'll change her. I've got to feed her anyway.

He walked over and handed her to me.

Vic: Out people.

Vic swatted some of them and they all left the room. I changed her then Jaclyn fed her. When Maggie was done eating everyone came back in. Maggie was asleep in Jaclyn's arm when Travis and Dean came in.

Travis: (excited) Ahhhh!!! Baby time. Why did no one say there was a baby!?

Everyone just laughed.

Jaclyn's POV:

When Travis walked in he walked over and looked down at her.

Jaclyn: Here. Take her blanket for a minute.

He lifted it up and immediately started smiling. He sat the blanket down and shook his head.

Jaclyn: Someone's gotta be your wing woman.
Travis: (laughs) She'd take all the guys from me. She's too dang cute.

I stood up and handed her to him. He stood there and slightly rocked her. I walked over and stood next to dad (Jack) and leaned against him. He wrapped his arm around me and kissed the top of my head.

Jack: (whispers) How did it go with Carina?
Jaclyn: Good. She said I'm healing good and doing good. She told me I could go back to normal stuff but just take it easy. I can officially lift Magnolia in her seat.
Jack: Good.

He nodded and kissed the side of my head. We stood there and talked and hung out for awhile.

Andy: Alright. Hand her over. I already yelled at Robert.
Travis: Yeah. I don't wanna get yelled at.
