Chapter 30

Jaclyn's POV:

I woke up and got ready for tour. I loaded my bags into my car and met mom and dads at the church where we were meeting the bus and the semi. When I got there dad (Jack) was out in the parking lot with Maya. I pulled up and parked next to them. I got out and then mom and dad (Lucas) pull up. They got out and came over.

Lucas: Hey baby
Jaclyn: Hey

We all stood around the cars and talked while waiting for my bus and semi to come. When they finally got there we loaded everything on to the bus and then Alex loaded my car into the semi. I walked out and gave everyone hugs.

Jack: I'm flying out tomorrow morning and I'll be with you for a week. Your grandpa will come out a few days after and stay for a couple weeks.
Jaclyn: Okay
Lucas: Then after you come home for a few days I'll come out with you for a week then your mom will come out a couple days after me.

I nodded and gave them all hugs. I got my stuff and got on the bus. I went back to my room and put clothes away while we drove to get the rest of the band.

Around 7 that night we finally got to the town for the show tomorrow. We all were wide awake so we went in and decided to do a run through of the show. After a sound check and run through we went back to the bus and hung out for awhile.

Tico: What's up in your world?
Jaclyn: Nothing much.
Tico: Yeah right.
Jaclyn: I've just been fighting with dad.
Tico: Jack?
Jaclyn: Yeah
Tico: Why?
Jaclyn: Him and fucking Maya.
Tico: Again?
Jaclyn: Yeah.
Tico: What happened this time?
Jaclyn: After my accident he told me he wanted to focus on just the two of us because I almost didn't make it. He told me he'd ask about bringing Maya over and literally the next day she was there. I woke up to her in her in the living room.
Tico: Damn.
Jaclyn: I don't know why she gets under my skin so much but she just does.
Tico: Want my opinion?
Jaclyn: I guess. You're gonna give it either way.
Tico: You know me so well. I think it's because Jack changed after he started dating Maya. I can personally tell a difference. I think that's why you're so upset about it.
Jaclyn: Ughhhhhh.

I laid down and put my head on his lap.

Jaclyn: I'm glad to have some time away from them. I love them all dearly but good God they are gonna be the death of me.
Tico: At least you have people who care and give a shit. We went so long without anyone.
Jaclyn: I know. I try to remind myself of that every time I wanna snap them in half.

Tico just laughed and rubbed my shoulder. We laid on the couch and watched a couple movies. After dinner I went back to my room and laid down in bed. I grabbed my laptop and pulled up Netflix. I was scrolling through some new shows when Tico came in.

Jaclyn: What's up?
Tico: Just wanted to check on ya before I went to bed.
Jaclyn: I'm good. I'm about to start a new show. Wanna join? I'm gonna hook my laptop up to my computer.
Tico: What show?
Jaclyn: You. It's about some creepy stalker guy. He played Dan on Gossip Girl.
Tico: Oooo. Gossip Girl used to be our shit.
Jaclyn: When we lived with Samantha and Benjamin!
Tico: Yes! Let me go turn everything off and I'll come in.
Jaclyn: Okay.

I got up and hooked my laptop up to the TV. I kicked off my slippers off and climbed into bed. A few minutes later Tico came in. I started the movie and we both laid down on my bed.

Hours later

Tico's POV:

I looked over and saw Jaclyn was asleep so I got up and turned the TV off and put her laptop up in her side table. I plugged her phone in and covered her up with a blanket. I turned her lights off and went to my bunk.
