Chapter 48

Jaclyn's POV:

Mom and dad got home yesterday with Stella. I decided to go stay with Tyler for a few days after they got home. I woke up around 6 and decided to get ready to go to the gym. Once I was ready I made sure Tyler was up. Once we both were ready we got in the car and left. He's doing his therapy at the same gym I work out at so it just works better. Once we got there he got checked in and went to therapy. I met with my trainer and got ready for my workout.

After my work out I did a cool down run and then grabbed my water. I took a drink and decided to do some boxing with my trainer.

Trainer: Right, Left, Duck. Got it?
Jaclyn: got it.
Trainer: once we get that done we will add the knee.
Jaclyn: okay.

I was doing my boxing when I saw Tyler come out of the therapy room. I finished my round and took a drink of water.

Trainer: good job.
Jaclyn: (out of breathe) Thanks.

I high fived him and grabbed my stuff. I walked out into the hall and found Tyler.

Jaclyn: Hey babe.
Tyler: hey. How was your workout?
Jaclyn: good. How was therapy?
Tyler: good.
Jaclyn: good. Let's go grab something for lunch.
Tyler: sounds good.

We left and grabbed something for lunch then headed home. After we ate he got settled on the couch while I took a shower. When I got out I wrapped up in a towel and went into the room. Tyler was in there plugging his phone in. He looked over at me and smiled. He looked me up and down while smiling. I smiled and dropped my towel. He smiled and walked over to me. He lightly ran his hand over my cheek and pulled me closer. I wrapped my arms around his waist and kissed him. He slowly said me down on the bed and we had some fun ;)

Around 5 dad (Lucas) called me. I silenced it and kept watching the movie with Tyler. After our movie we went back to the gym and got another work out in. He got on the bike and did a mile or so. I got on the treadmill and did a mile then did the stair climber. I was getting off the stair climber when dad called me again.

Jaclyn: hello?
Lucas: hey. Whatcha doing?
Jaclyn: at the gym.
Lucas: gotcha. We were just wondering if you were coming home tonight.
Jaclyn: no. I'm staying at Tyler's again. He had therapy in the morning so I'm taking him while I work out.
Lucas: oh okay.
Jaclyn: alright. I gotta go so I can finish my workout.
Lucas: alright. Love you.
Jaclyn: love you too

I hung up and tossed my phone on the table. I got on the elliptical and put my ear buds in. After another mile or so we went home. I took another shower when we got back. I got dressed and then helped him in the shower. I laid in bed while he took a shower. After we both took showers I made dinner.

Around 10 mom called me. I silenced it and rolled back over in bed.

Tyler: who was that?
Jaclyn: mom
Tyler: why don't you answer it?
Jaclyn: because I'm tired.
Tyler: call her back. She never calls this late.
Jaclyn: fine

I sighed and rolled over. I grabbed my phone and got up. I called her back and went into the kitchen to get some water.

Vic: hello?
Jaclyn: hey. You called?
Vic: yeah. Just wanted to check in. Haven't seen you in a couple days.
Jaclyn: I'm fine. I'm at Tyler's like I told y'all. He's starting therapy up this week so I'm just staying and driving him and getting in workouts while he's at therapy.
Vic: okay. Just wanted to makes sure
Jaclyn: I'm fine mom
Vic: okay.
Jaclyn: alright. I'm gonna go back to bed. Love you.
Vic: love you too.

I hung up and went back to bed. I plugged my phone in and sat my water down. I climbed into bed and curled up to Tyler. He wrapped his arm around me and kissed my forehead. I laid my head down and fell asleep.
