Chapter 69

Jaclyn's POV:

Today we finally get to the house. When we pulled in I took a video of the drive up to it and turned it to Tyler who was smiling from ear to ear. We parked and got out. I put my jacket back on and we went inside. We walked around and looked at all the renovations we had done. Almost everything we had sent here was put up which was nice.

Jaclyn: I love the tile back splash.
Tyler: I do too.

I was standing there just looking at everything when Tyler walked up behind me and wrapped his arms around me. I took a deep breathe and laid my head against his arm. He put his chin on the top of my head. We just stood there looking at everything.

Jaclyn: Let's go grab the stuff and bring it in.

He nodded and we went back out and started bringing stuff in. I carried our bags from the drive to the laundry room and threw them in there. Tyler carried our luggage up to our room while I brought in more bags. His mom and dad grabbed their bags and came in.

Jaclyn: Here. This is the only spare room with a mattress right now. I had Brittany get some linens for the room.
Kristy: Oh you don't have to.
Jaclyn: You guys both drove across the US to help us move. It's the least I can do. We appreciate it a lot.
Kristy: Of course.

They got settled and took showers while Tyler and I finished bringing some stuff inside. I went up to the bedroom and started putting our clothes away. I was hanging clothes up when Tyler came in.

Tyler: Hey.
Jaclyn: Hey.
Tyler: Have you called your parents?
Jaclyn: Oh shit. Not yet.
Tyler: I'll hang the clothes. Go call them.

I gave him a quick kiss then went out to the deck that's connected to our room.

Vic: Hi baby!
Jaclyn: Hi. We made it to the house. We got here about a hour ago but unloaded some stuff while it was still light. 
Vic: Good. How was the drive?
Jaclyn: Not bad. My butt hurts.

She laughed and we kept talking for awhile. When we were done talking I went into our room and crawled into bed. A few seconds later Tyler came in and crawled in bed next to me.

Jaclyn: hi babe.
Tyler: hi.

He laid down and laid his head on my chest. We laid there for awhile until we both fell asleep.

Kristy's POV:

After we took our showers I went to go check on the kids and saw them asleep in their room. I smiled and went back to our room.

Next day

Jaclyn's POV:

I woke up around 9 and Typer wasn't in bed. I got up and got dressed then went downstairs. I found Tyler in the kitchen. He was pulling some food out of to go bags. 

Tyler: Well good morning.
Jaclyn: (smiles) Good morning. 

I walked over and gave him a kiss. He sat the stuff down then his parents walked in.

Kristy: Good morning.
Tom: Morning.
Jaclyn: Morning. 
Tyler: Good morning. 

We all sat down at the counter and ate. 

Kristy: So what do we need to do today?
Jaclyn: Honestly I don't know. 
Tyler: I guess unpack the boxes we didn't unpack last night. 
Jaclyn: I mean most of our stuff was already here so we don't have much to do. 
Kristy: Well alrighty. Let's do it.

After breakfast I went and changed into some leggings and a tank top. Tyler and I carried some boxes down to the basement. I started putting the stuff away while he brought stuff down. While we were unpacking our grocery pick up was ready so Kristy went to go pick it up. When she got back her and Tom put it all away. Kristy came downstairs with me and helped me put some stuff up in some of the spare rooms while the guys put some shelves and stuff together.
