I Blame Wattpad for My High Expectations of Men

    PLEASE READ BEFORE DIVING INTO THE ACTUAL BOOK! EXTREMELY IMPORTANT CONTENT AHEAD!

        Hey guys! So, I've been on Wattpad since 2016 as a reader, but only recently starting writing/publishing actual content on here myself. That being said, before you guys jump into the story, I'd like to first take the time to discuss what you all can expect to see in my works; and I guess by doing this, I'm also giving you guys a fair warning in a way to determine whether or not you'd be interested in the things you'd find in my works beforehand (this story included).

        For starters, be prepared for A LOT of mature content...specifically speaking, the language portion of my writing. My characters are bound to curse like sailors, so if that ain't it for you, then here's your first warning to dip on out of here. Also, as squeamish as I can be sometimes, I try to add in sexual content here and there — every once in a while, at least — just so that the stories sound more realistic. Like I mean, come on, what sex isn't vulgar and what dirty joke isn't dirty?...My point exactly. So yeah, expect a lot of mature content, even though I'll try my best to keep it at a normal level because I do like to believe that I still have at least some decency left in me. Hopefully I'm not too corrupted yet 😂😬🤞🏻. Onto heads-up number 2.

        As realistic as I try to make my characters and their stories, there will be some cliché/unrealistic moments as well. This particular one is a romance book after all, so it's bound to happen, guys. If you can deal with it, great and I encourage you to start reading ASAP; if not, then it's still not too late for you to ignore it and move on to something else that you feel will better suit your interests. I don't think I'm the sappy type myself, but Wattpad has been able to do wonders to my feelings lol, so I'll just say that anything is possible with this story in particular.

        Lastly, and perhaps the most tedious to many, is the fact that this book will not be heavy on editing/rewriting. If your guys' interests end up peaking for the book, then this will definitely be something to be aware of because in that case, my top priority would be to get as many chapters out to you guys as possible in order to not keep you all waiting for so long. In the end, it comes down to you guys and your willingness to keep the book popular, but I still wanted to warn all you grammar/punctuation/spelling/editing freaks out there just in case. Of course, feel free to give me your constructive criticism at all times, just know that there are bound to be plenty of mistakes in this book...it is what it is 😬🤷🏻‍♀️.

        Okay, wow. I totally wrote more than I had anticipated, but I think that this pretty much covers it all. I will have the prologue, the character list, and the first three chapters up for now and the more you guys comment/vote/share the book, the more I will continue to update on a regular basis. You guys, the readers, are what make each and every book on here either a hit or a miss. With that being said, I hope you guys find this one a hit as time goes by and the story progresses.
