*Author's Note: This is Ace's point of view that we're talking about here, so you already know that there's bound to be a sexual warning at the beginning of his first perspective chapter, hence the obvious title 😂. The following events took place during Lola's and Ace's first mini road trip together to Los Angeles, where they also had their first official date as a couple. Hope you enjoy it! Stay blessed! :)*

~Ace Rivers's Point of View~

Me: You ready to go, babe?

Lo 👅😍: Yeah, just about done packing

Lo 👅😍: You can head on over if you want

Me: Ight, I'll be there in ten 😘

Lo 👅😍: See ya then 😘

I smile as I put my phone in my pocket, beyond excited for these next two days. After the scare that threatened Riley this past week, my mind had been all over the place. But now that I've been assured -and reassured- that my little sister is safe and sound, I can't wait to spend the following forty-eight hours with my other favorite girl.

Okay fine. I was planning to check up on Riley once more tomorrow night after dropping off Lola, but that's beside the point. Things are good now, and that's all that matters.

With the smile never leaving my face, I grab my wallet, keys and duffel bag before locking the door of my shared space on my way out.

I watch as Lola walks out of Manzanita Village with a duffel bag of her own, amazed at how she can make an outfit as simple as black leggings, a white tee and washed-down jean jacket look so fucking sexy. I then make sure to rub my friend down south a few times before she enters my car, knowing damn well we won't be leaving Santa Barbara any time soon if I don't.

"Hey, baby," she greets me once she's inside, closing the door just as she gives me a peck on the lips. Fuck, she's wearing that strawberry-flavored chapstick I love so damn much...she's really not making this any easier, is she?

"Hey, gorgeous," I greet her back, making sure to lengethen our kiss by at least another five seconds for good measure. Lola being Lola, though, she easily catches on.

"Keep that up, and we'll never make it out of here," she whispers, giving the newly profound bulge in my jeans a single stroke.

"Fucking hell," I mutter as she knowingly pulls away. But then she smiles, and all I can think is, 'oh shit, we really better get going now.'

Pulling away from her building, we steadily drive further and further away from campus, soon heading down US-101 S towards the City of Angels.

"So," she asks once we've been on the interstate for a solid fifteen minutes, "what's the intinerary looking like for the next two days?"

"Well, first," I say, interlocking her fingers with mine before placing our hands back on the stick shift, "we'll stop at that one diner I told you about over break. You know, the one Riley and I ate at?" She nods with another breathtaking smile. "You haven't eaten breakfast yet, have you?"

"Nope."

"Good, otherwise you'd hate yourself for not being able to stuff as much of their food inside you as possible." She chuckles at my words, sounding absolutely fucking adorable.
