~Flashback Continued~

~Sunday, November 27, 2016~

Kelsey and I are currently waiting at baggage claim for our luggage to come out, so I've taken the time to post Levi's and Liam's birthday photos from last night up on Instagram. The celebration was wild, to say the least.

We went bar hopping downtown and got so wasted, that we ended up sleeping at the nearest hotel, and all seven of us in one room. Needless to say, we didn't fall asleep until eight in the morning. I'm pretty sure I had drunk dialed Ace at some point, too, although I don't remember much of the conversation to be honest.

You know he's never going to let you live that down, right?

        Yeah, what else is new?

        Speaking of Ace...

Subject 🧪👨🏻‍🔬: You land yet? ❤️

Now, I could respond to his text like a sane person...or I can just leave it unread and surprise him at his place earlier than expected.

Oooh, he's going to KILL youuuu...

Not if I make it up to him later tonight, Buffy.

        You bad bitch!

Shaking my head to myself, and embracing how weird that might make me look in public at the moment, I send Mom and Luca a quick text stating that I've arrived safely. I make sure to send Luca an extra text, reminding him to update me on that job up in New York that he was interviewed for on Saturday.

Once the texts go through, I place my phone back in my jacket's pocket right before I spot my luggage just around the corner. When it makes its way over to me, I pull it off the carousel, and move out of everyone else's way to go wait for Kelsey off to the side. Once she's retrieved her bag, we proceed to the exit, where we spot an excited-looking Hayden waiting for us.

I smile as I see my best friend running into his arms, and him hoisting her up for her legs to hug his waist.

Can you really blame them, though? They hadn't seen each other for five whole days after having seen each other every day for those past two and a half months. Yeah, you would've been feeling all jumpy and excited too, my dear readers. Don't lie.

As soon as Hayden sets Kelsey back on the ground, making sure to give her a passionate kiss afterwards, he immediately puts his free arm around my shoulders for a side hug. I don't miss the pointing finger he gives me right after.

"You're insane, you know that?" So I've been told. "You guys haven't even been dating for a week and you already want to give him a heart attack? He's been blowing up my phone ever since your ETA, and it hasn't even been twenty minutes yet."

Yeah, Kelsey and I let Hayden in on the little surprise I was planning. Hayden's going to sneak me into Ace's bedroom while Ace is freaking out downstairs -at least that's what I assume will happen given how many times he's been trying to reach all three of us by now- and when he walks back in, cue the fireworks.

Correction. Not only is he going to kill you, but he will find a way to revive you, then kill both you and himself together.

Eh. It'll be worth the expression on his face when he sees me.
