Y/N POV

Shawn had come back from tour not long ago and he was on what he called a "musical break". Tomorrow me, Shawn and our 3 months son y/s/n (your son name) were going on holiday to New York. I couldn't wait. We'd finally get the break we needed after so long. Recently, Shawn and I have been having petty arguments, so we decided to book this holiday to bring us closer again. This trip was meant for the both of us to relax and yet here I am, washing the dishes, after just finishing packing all our belongings by myself, whilst trying to take care of a 3 month baby, whereas Shawn sits on his arse and does nothing. Usually if a guy sat around like that, i'd kick them out first chance I got, but Shawn's been stressed lately so I decided to let it slide... just this once. As I continued to wash the dishes I heard a few steps walking towards the kitchen.

"Hey babe" Shawn said

I heard him but decided to ignore him, just to let him know I was annoyed.

"Babe"

"Y/n"

"Hellllllllo, earth to y/n" Shawn said whilst flapping his hand in my face

"What?" I bluntly reply as I turn off the tap

"Brian said we should go to this hotel its called The Plaza, and it got everything, its got a spa, a swimming pool and a -" 

I cut him off and said,"But shawn we've already booked our hotel, we don't need this one" I replied

"But, y/n Brian said -"

I cut him off again and said, "I don't care what Brian said, I appreciate him helping but he's not the one going" 

"I wish he was the one coming with me" Shawn mumbled but I heard.

Tears began to form in my eyes. "Well then Shawn, he can come with you, because guess what im not going" I said and tried to leave the kitchen without erupting into tears.

"Y/n wait I-" Shawn said but was interrupted by the sound of y/s/n crying.

"I'll get him" I said and made my way to y/s/n room.

Shawn's pov

What have I done? I didn't mean anything horrible. I just wanted everything to be perfect. I want the best for y/s/n and y/n but now i've ruined it. I'm such an idiot. I need to fix this, I can't lose the woman I love. I made my way towards the y/s/n room, and watched from the door as y/n cradled our son in her arms.

"Hey, y/s/n, don't cry, I didn't mean to shout at your daddy, I love him too much, i'm sorry for being such a disappointment to you baby. I know its selfish but your dad's been hanging around with his friends more than me, and he's always talking about his best friend Brian, and it was getting annoying. I hope you and your daddy can forgive me, I love you both too much" she said to the baby

My heart began to ache as I watched the woman I love begin to cry. She placed the baby in his cot, and that was when I pulled her into a hug. Tears immediately fell from her eyes. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry." she whispered into my chest

"It's okay baby, its not your fault, but did you mean what you meant" I said to her as I pulled away from the hug so we were facing each other

"You heard" she questioned

"Yeah"

"I just thought you don't have time for me anymore, and that you care about your friends more than me, I know im being selfish and im sorry and I-" this time I cut her off by placing my lips on hers.  One thing I loved about her, was that every kiss I had with her felt like the first. Everything was perfect. I pulled away and said to her "Babe, I will always have time for you, im sorry if you felt that I wasn't including you, its just I wanted everything to be perfect so I was taking advice from Brian, im sorry baby please forgive me" 

"Its okay I forgive you Shawn"

"Thank you"

We both made our way downstairs and sat on the couch ready to start our Movie Marathon. I placed the popcorn and muffins on the table. I stared at y/n the whole time unable to look at the movie. 

"What" she giggled

"Nothing your just beautiful"

She blushed and thanked me.

"Soooooo" 

"Sooooooo" she mimicked me whilst pausing the movie

"Are you still going on the holiday with me?" I questioned

"Only if you buy me some Cheetos tomorrow and a Starbucks Iced green tea."

"Kay its a deal"

"Oooh and a cupcake with the pink frosting" she said excitedly

"Don't push it hon" I laughed
