It was a normal Tuesday. Everything was fine, until at around 3pm i got a text from my manager.
"Hey Isabel ,Shawn mendes background singer called in sick going to need you as backup, hope you don't mind all expenses are paidxx
I quickly texted back
Yep thats fine i'll be there in around an hour x
I couldn't believe it. I was about to meet THE shawn mendes. Everything was perfect. I couldn't wait. I decided to wear a white crop top and a little skirt.

After a while of waiting my taxi, finally arrived and we set off to the concert. At this point i was feeling extremely nervous so i opened the window. Thoughts were flying through my head. What if i'm not good enough? What if i sing off note? What if he doesn't like me?
As I was freaking out, the car stopped and a middle aged security man opened the door for me. I stepped outside and watched as millions of Shawn Mendes fans stared at me whispering, things like, She's the slut thats taking over the last singers place. Ewww she's so fat. Look at her legs, why on earth is she wearing shorts. Amongst the mean comments, they were also some nice ones. Isn't she pretty. Can't wait to see her voice. I was guided to my dressing room wear had a few minutes with myself and the other back singers. They were all pretty nice to me. All except one.
Sophie.
I don't know why she hated me but she did. She hated me with a passion. I decided to let it go i was only going to be here for 2 days so i would be fine. As i added the finishing touches to my makeup ,two men came into our dressing room. I immediatly recognised who it was. It was Andrew and Shawn Mendes.
"Hello everyone thank you all for coming and good luck on stage" Andrew declared
Shawn just stood there. He looked apsolutley perfect. I could feel his gaze on me and i began to blush and giggle. Sophie noticed this as she immediatly walked up to Shawn and said
"Hey, boo how are you" she said as she hugged him
"I'm good thanks" he replied
He walked up to me and asked. "Heya, whats your name?"
Isabel. I smiled
Isabel, that's a pretty name.
I chuckled as he wished me good luck and walked off.
I didn't know why he stared at me but I also didn't mind. Maybe it was because i'm new ? As Shawn left, sophie pushed me to the wall and said.
"He's mine you better keep your filthy hands off him"
I quickly nodded and we all headed to the stage with Shawn. I couldn't stop thinking about Shawn why did he stare at me so much. We went onto stage and sang perfectly for 2 hours. Everything was going well until we reached the last five minutes shawn declared "Guys thank you all so much for coming , love you all and goodbye.
Sophie grabbed the microphone and me and said "Guys this slag thinks Shawn mendes likes her, i mean why would he fancy a dirty digusting bitch like her" she snorted .
I noticed that some of the fans agreed as others didn't. I burst into tears and ran of stage.
"Isabel" Shawn called but I ignored him
I ran and ran but soon stop as Shawns firm arm took hold of me and stopped me.
"Shawn, please let me go" I said between tears
"Why you dont believe what she said."
I didn't reply until he spoke and said.
"You wanna know what I think, I think your the most prettiest women i've ever met. Your kind caring and i can tell that just by looking at you. You shouldn't believe what she says because your wonderful" he smiled weakly at me and looked down
"What's wrong?" I asked him
"Nothing. I was just admiring the beauty of your face " he said whilst staring at my lips.
He leant in and so did I we kissed slowly but passionately.
"Wow" I said giggling
"Wow indeed" he replied
~ 3 years later
"Shawn, honey theres a bug at the back of the cuboard can you get rid of it"
"Just kill it". he replied
"No, im too scared please Shawnie."
"Urgh fine." Shawn said as he got up
I don't see anything" he said as he shuffled his arm around the cuboard
"Look right at the back behind that box" I instructed him
He did as I told him and pulled out a pregnancy test. All of a sudden, he picked me up and spun me around in the air, and kissed me.
"Your pregnant... I can't believe it." he said as he placed his arm on my stomach and kissed it.
I giggled and started at my wedding ring as he started to babble about our future baby.
"What if its a mini Shawn or a mini Isabel, oh I cant wait, I am going to spoil him or her rotten and - "
I cut off his speech by giving him another long passionate kiss.
I love Shawn with all my heart. At first I was just his backup singer, but now i'm his wife and the mother of our child :)
