I make my way inside the pet centre. I look around for one animal in particular. A puppy preferably a small fluffy one. Y/n, my amazing wife , has been with me for 4 wonderful years, but we've been married for 6 fabulous months, and I thought maybe I should get her a gift to show her my love for her. I wanted to get her a puppy as I know how much she loves them. However the only problem is i'm allergic to them. But I still wanted to get her one. She deserves the best, and i'm going to find her the cutest puppy in the world.
"Hi, my name is Catherine, how may I help you?" she says
"Well I was just looking for a puppy, for my girlfriend., and i'm not quite sure which one to get"
"Oh are you looking for any in particular."
"Well I'm allergic to dogs so i'm not really sure which one to get" I said back
"We have some hypoallergenic dogs, so they won't really affect you much, follow me this way and i'll show you."
I followed Catherine into the room, where I was met with many dogs. "Wow, they're all so cute."
"Aren't they just" Catherine replied smiling a little
After a few minutes of debating which puppy I should get I finally made my decision. "I'll take this one, please"
"Bichon Frise, good choice, now this puppy is only a couple of weeks old and we haven't given him an official name yet, any ideas."
I smiled and told her the name I wanted. Soon, I had brought the puppy, the cage, the dog food and a few other accessories. I made my way into my jeep, excited for my wife's reaction. I smiled, just by thinking about her. Her beautiful face, and how her y/h/c flows perfectly on her face, and how easily I could get lost in her y/e/c eyes. After around 10 to 15 minutes i'd arrived home. I opened the door and saw y/n sitting on the couch. Once her eyes landed on mine, she immediately stood up and rushed towards me, quickly enfolded me in a hug.
"Shawn, you're back, you were gone for ages" she said
"I'm sorry baby, i was getting you something." I said pulling back a little
"What do you mean getting me something?" she questioned
"I got you a surprise" I said whilst smirking
"But i don't need any surprises, i already have everything i need, that's you Shawn"
"Baby, you deserve the world, trust me when i say this you're going to love this, now wait here one second, eyes shut" i said whilst placing a kiss on her lips. She giggled and shut her eyes.
I went back into my jeep and opened the cage door, carefully taking the puppy out. "Arms out, hun." i said
Y/n placed her arms out and i placed the puppy in her arm. She immediatly gasped in excitment. "Is that..."
"Open your eyes" i said
"Oh my gosh, its a puppy, shawn its a freaking puppy."
"Yep" i said chuckling a little at her reaction
"What his or her name?" she asked
"His name is muffin"
"Muffin, let me guess did you choose that name." she said
I nodded and she laughed before adding "The little one's going to love him"
"Little one, what little one." i questioned feeling a little confused. Y/n placed the puppy on the ground and then said,
"You have a surprise, so do i, i'm pregnant"
My eyes began to fill with tears. Tears of love and happiness. Y/n's eyes softened.
"Shawn, are you okay, do you not want this baby."
"Y/n your pregnant"
"Yes i am" she laughed whilst wiping away some of her own tears
All of a sudden, our puppy, or muffin ran up to y/n's leg and barked excitedly. Y/n giggled and so did I. I loved seeing her laugh. Her smile could brighten up anybody's day.I brought her face closer to mine and closed the gap between us. I pressed my lips on to hers as we kissed. Each kiss we have, is full of passion and love. "I love you" i said
"I love you too, and I love our little one too" she whispered
