Y/N POV

It was the day of our first ultrasound. I was so nervous scared and excited. I was having a baby. An actual human was growing beside me. I head downstairs to see my wonderful husband Shawn with two cups of hot coco. I walk up to him and give him a quick peck on the lips. Gosh i love him.

Shawn pov

I watch as y/n enters the room. I love her so much , I cant believe we are actually having our second child. She gives me a quick peck on the lips, and i give her the cup of coco that i prepared for her.

"Aww Shawnie, you didn't have to make me this"

I know baby, but I wanted to" I replied

"Come on, have your breakfast and then we have to go to the doctors" I tell her as i begin to put my shoes on. 

"Where noah," 

"my Mom picked him up, she's taking him out for the day"

She nodded and smiled weakly , something was wrong I decided to ignore it because i wanted today to be perfect. We headed out to the car and i buckled y/n seatbelt in. Suddenly, y/n burst into laughter. "Babe, what is it, whats so funny"

"You are, your looking after me so much its hilarious" y/n said between giggles

"Oh, im doing it because your unbelievably precious and I have to make sure your ok and healthy" i reply as i set out to drive

Y/n pov

We finally arive at the hospital, and Shawn rushes to my side of the door just so he can open it. I giggle as he helps me out of the car.

"chivalry's not dead, is it" i giggle

Nope.

We register our names to the front desk manager and sit down. For a while i, sit in silence, until shawn looks at me with worry in his eyes and asks.

"Y/N whats wrong"

"Nothing," i reply trying to avoid eye contact

"Tell me please"

" im scared something is going to go wrong, and that it will be my fault." she says as tears begin to form in her eyes. 

I grab hold of her arm and squeeze it as I tell her everything will be allright. After a couple of minutes waiting a women wearing a doctors outfit came with a clipboard and exclaimed "Y/n Mendes"

We stood up and followed her into the room.

We enter the room and the doctor, who was called jane, handed me a hospital gown, so I felt more comfortable. As I walked out in my gown, Shawns eyes widened. "Whats, wrong , shawn"

Nothing... you just look really hot in that. he replied as he winked at me

I giggled as I lay down on the hospital. 

"Y/n if you don't mind can you lift the gown up so we can see your stomach". jane asked politley

I nodded as I did as I was told. "Thanks y/n, now i'm going to apply this jelly substance on your stomach so we can get clear sound waves of the babies heartbeat. 

My heart started to race.. as she moved the scanner around trying to find the baby. I waited... and waited. A few minutes later, jane looked at me with a smile and said "Awww, here we go theres your healthy little baby. 

My eyes suddenly began to water as I looked at Shawn and kissed him. The appointment ended as we were given our 1st ultrasound pictures. I got into the car and Shawn gave me the cutest smile and said "I can't wait to be a dad again, "

I can't wait to be a mom... again" I said as I placed my arm on my stomach.

"I love you y/n"

"I love you more, muffin" I giggled
