Chapter Thirty Four

 Hani POV

The relief of getting through that competition hit me like a train, after my performance me and Simon went home after being apart for a while and him thinking that I was ignoring him and getting cold feet about our relationship.

Before we got to the apartment, we went to get some ice-cream, so we went to my favorite ice-cream shop. We walked into the store and you know that smell that's in every ice-cream store that you remember since childhood, well when we walked into the ice-cream shop I had so many flashback from my home country and how me and my family would go on an ice-cream road trip or in Icelandic it's called 'Ísbíltúr' which is very popular in Iceland, when you go with your friends, family or anyone that owns a car and you go buy yourself some ice-cream and then you go for a ride and it often lasts for hours and it's really fun.

When it was our turn Simon asked me what I wanted but he already knew what I wanted, Oreo and coconut ice-cream. We got our ice-cream and went home. When we got to the apartment, we both walked upstairs to our bedroom to change into something more comfortable before we watched something on Netflix downstairs. 

When I was done changing Simon told me that he was going to take a shower so I should just wait for him downstairs and find something to watch while he showers, he told me to find something that both of us would find fun to watch and he put more emphasis the both of us part which I found funny and cute.

I walked downstairs to be greeted by darkness in the apartment, I hadn't noticed how dark the apartment always was, so I decided to light some candles to make the room cozier and more inviting. When I was done, I jumped on the sofa and got myself comfortable with a soft blanket and the softest pillows that I had ever felt. 

I turned on the television and started scrolling through Netflix trying to find something to watch, I had been doing that for a quite a while when I heard Simon walk downstairs with his wet hair and only in his puma shorts which I have to say were pretty darn sexy but when he saw me lying on the sofa he smiled at me chuckled at me went to get the ice-cream that we had put in the freezer so it wouldn't melt and then he ran to the couch and laid next to me.

In the time that I had been scrolling through I had found two shows that I wanted to see.

'So, what are we watching' Simon asked me while stuffing his face with ice-cream.

'Okay so I found two shows that I think are worth watching' I told him while scrolling to the show that I was going to show him. 'I had heard good things about these two, so I wanted to take a look' I finished.

'Okay bring it' he told me and then he laced him hands around my waist so he was the big spoon and I was the little spoon then he kissed my forehead, he had finished his ice-cream while I was scrolling through trying to find the show that I was talking about, and he called me an ice-cream addict.

'Okay the first one is called Scarlet Heart' I showed him.

'Ahh I've seen this before, my friend Baekhyun from EXO is acting in this so I had to watch him' he told me smiling 'I went to the premier for the movie and saw all the actors and I had to say that they are as pretty in real life and they are on screen' he finished.

'Oh well I'll just watch it some other time' I smiled at him 'So the other one is called Kingdom'

'What is it about babe' he asked me I smirked to myself knowing he wouldn't really want to watch it because he can't handle scary stuff.

'Well it's also a Korean drama, it had zombies and stuff and it takes place in the Joseon dynasty so it had kings, crown prince and stuff' I told him, I saw his face fall a bit when I said the zombie part and chuckled lightly.
