Chapter Thirty Seven

Hani POV 

There I was standing there frozen, what did I just read. I never imagined that I would ever end up in a dating scandal with Lee Taemin probably one of the most famous kpop idols in Korea. 

So here I am sitting beside Simon who was as shell shocked as me at the moment or probably more, I would have thought that if I ever would have ended up in a dating scandal it would have been with Simon not Taemin, that's probably why I'm so shocked that it was with him, I would have been okay with being caught in a scandal with Simon, then we would have been able to date publicly and not having to have to be careful of if someone would see us. 

I am sitting in bed thinking of what to do, Simon went downstairs to get some water because he wasn't feeling well after reading about the scandal. I was texting both Taemin and Zion about this and asking them what the best thing to do is. 

Taemin told me that SM had asked him if the rumors were true and he had said to them that I was only a good friend and that I was already in a relationship, he then told me that his agency was going to deny everything so I was safe. I was talking to Zion when I got a message from Taemin. 

„How about you and Simon Hyung go public?" Taemin asked me 

 „Oh, I don't know we had talked about it a bit, like if we ever ended in a scandal, we wouldn't deny it but we haven't really talked about it" I told him „I think it's the best to do it after the competition" I said „

I mean I don't think it will be that serious if you and him go public, I mean I think it will be a popular topic for a while but it'll pass, I don't think that people will be against it. You are a really good person so it won't be that serious" 

When he said that I just laughed at how clueless he was, even though he had been a kpop idol for more than ten years he still doesn't have a clue how serious it is for someone famous to be in a relationship, how some of the fans will react. 

I know he hasn't had a dating scandal all his career well there was this one time when people thought he was in a relationship but it turned out that he was only hanging out with his best friend EXO Kai that was pretty funny. 

I decided to go downstairs and check up on Simon so when I walked into the kitchen he was sitting on the kitchen stool looking really tired and sad so I walked up to him and hugged him and we stayed like that for a while until I let go and sat down next to him. 

„I just spoke to Taemin and he told me that his agency was going to fix this" I told him, he just sighed and nodded his head but I tell he was kind of relieved to hear that. 

„I was thinking, how about if we just went public?" I asked him he just looked at me but didn't say anything, I started getting a bit pissed at how he was acting. 

„You don't want that?" I asked him but he didn't say anything „Will you please say something" but he didn't and that made me more pissed. 

„Can you please stop acting like a child and tell me what is bothering you" I said to him, he looked like he was trying to figure out what to say and then finally he said. 

„I just don't understand why they would have thought that you and Taemin were dating" he said really emphasizing the „you" part and wow that sentence hurt like a bitch. 

„What do you mean by that?" I asked him feeling really hurt by what he said. „You don't think I'm good enough?" I asked him, I had already stood up feeling really taken back by what he had said.
