5:The first day (A)

Writers pov

        Sun rays are trying hard to peep in through thick black curtains of Manik's room but every attempt of theirs seemed unsuccessful. Even though the sun outside was shining bright spreading light in everyone's life as an indication that it is time to head start their day.

Manik's room was utter dark as if untouched from the bright light outside....wasn't it much like his life?? After the little fight with the curtains the sunlight some how managed to enter in and become the only source of some light in the room as manik was sitting parallel to the window they fell directly on his face revealing his gorgeous face, his morning state was definitely a treat for sore eyes.

Sunlight graced his messy face, groaning a little he squeezed his eyes shut adjusting to the sudden brightness, his eyes fell on the farme still intact in his hold. His eyes instantly turned soft at the picture, he adored the picture one last time before keeping it back at its secret place

He became conscious of his state and gathered himself back he did his daily chores before leaving for Infinity.

Meanwhile in Murthy house our very own Nandini was going all paranoid about anything and everything while getting ready for her first day at Infinity she wouldn't find a thing though it was right in front of her. Anyhow after the much needed pep talk from Chacha and Chachi at the breakfast table she left the house bidding them adieu

Nandini's pov
    
      I reached Infinity 15 mins early then my reporting time the last thing I desired was to leave a horrible impression on the very first day.

I don't know why but this job is getting me all paranoid, never have I ever been this nervous for anything in my life doesn't mean I never get nervous but this nervous nahhh!! It is so not me, this job is bringing out a version of me I had no clue existed..

As I walked in towards the reception the receptionist immediately recognized me and informed me that Sheryl is waiting for me and helped me reach Sheryl. I knocked her cabin in order to seek permission and next I heard was her cheerful voice allowing me in, as I entered her cabin she gave me her best smile and she greeted me in the sweetest tone.

"Good morning sweetheart"

"Good morning Sheryl" I couldn't help but reciprocate in an equally sweet tone

" Good that you are early I called you here so that I show you your cabin and also give you some work for now. let's leave I'll tell you about the rest of the things on the way" Sheryl said

With that me and Sheryl left the cabin and entered the elevator...

"where are we going I thought this floor was only restricted to Mr Malhotra"

I asked Sherly not able to hold back my curiosity, as I saw her pressing the button for the 23rd floor.

" oh honey actually, now that you are new here there are a few projects that u need to start working on immediately so you will be trained by Mr Malhotra himself for a week so your cabin will be on his floor and yeah this is a once in a life time opportunity make the most out of it okay??" Sheryl said clearing my confusion. I nodded my head at her in understanding.

The elevator doors opened with a ping sound and we walked out of it that's when I noticed the interior of the floor, pretty much hidden from everyone's eye, the entire floor had an interior in black. Though this was not the first time I am on this floor as I was here during my interview too but I was too nervous to notice anything.
This floor was different than the rest of them, it was classy,  the structure of the floor screamed elegance.
