48: Avoidance and confrontations!

Manik's pov:

                 Hypnotized....that's exactly how i am feeling right now! My conscious mind stepped down letting my unconscious take over, i in anyway couldn't resist the strong urge that pulled me to her..as i jerked her closer i could feel her chest rising and falling against mine, indicating her slow deep breaths...she squeezed her eyes shut as i kissed her cheeks, deep in my heart i was happy seeing my effect on her..

This irresistable strong urge to taste those lusciously plump petals, with her lips parted a little, heavy breaths, closed eyes..she looked like my death..a death that i wouldn't refuse to embrace ever.....i was soo into her and almost about to take those beautifully filled lips in mine, when i noticed her hands that clutched my blazer in a death grip that's when i got hold of my sanity....i realized rushing into it won't have any good outcomes!

But resisting her is freaking impossible.....so with everything that i had in me, i composed myself and brought her face closer to mine...i leaned a little to reach my desired destination on her face and when there i slowly let my lips guide the course further...

Nandini's pov:

                  I stood there in a daze..expecting those gorgeously thin lips over mine....i felt him coming dangerously closer to my lips....i swear i could hear every freaking beat of my heart..it was soo loud.....

But i was stunned when i felt his lips landing on the corner of mine and not on them..our lips were almost touching but yet weren't....i had goosebumps all over....he let his lips there for a nice minute or so, without any moment...it stayed still..making my breaths so wilder then ever my hands travelled from his chest to the side of his waist slowly as i clutched him..

I could feel his hold on my waist tightening as well..he then placed his lips on the other corner of my lips this time they were partially on mine..he let them stay there for what felt like eternity...the feeling of his lips..ohh!!! It felt so good..they felt like the softest of cotton...i know i might sound a desperate creep but all i felt like at this moment was to pull him by his hair and slam his lips on mine only to never let go..his minty breath were such a freaking turn on..I had to hold onto him to not go weak on my knees....

I never wanted this moment to end but a loud call of chachi came as a hindrance to our la la land...

We pulled apart and he left my waist...i immediately started Missing those fingers on my waist but shooing all those thoughts i tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear and kept my gaze stuck to the floor..

Okay! Awkward! The air in my room screamed awkward! It wasn't, a moment back but now it was different..we were both tounge tied, he stood there looking around at everything but me and me..i couldn't dare to lift my eyes from the floor...

Chachi! She came as a rescue as we heard her calling us and taking it as a perfect opportunity i rushed downstairs..i signed in relief as i came out of the room...

I directly moved to the kitchen without bothering to see if he followed me downstairs or not...

Setting up the table, me and chachi joined the others..the entire time i was avoiding his gaze but to the contray he kept looking at me making me conscious...

" aacha hai manik aaj tujhe lene aa gaya aur ussi bahahe breakfast bhi kar liya hum sab ne saath main" chachi said and my eyes went freaking wide!!

" What!!! Lene..aa..gaya....matlab" i yelled a little and stammered, stupid nandu tu puchna hi bul gayi ki why was he here....

" areee chilla kya rahi hai abhi tumlog upar itni der baat hi kar rahe the na tabhi manik ne nhi bataya!?" she asked, godd!!! Can it get anymore embarrassing!! How can i tell her, chachi upar hum sab kar rahe the except baate!!!
