22: The lodge!!

                 30 minutes! we have been waiting here for 30 minutes with no clue where this fool is. We both have been standing here in silence ever since our last conversation, if you could call hurling accusations and sarcasm each other's way that and honestly none of us I guess is interested in talking to the other. I would have stuck to the same belief only if I hadn't heard her...

" Pata nhi kab tak yaha aaise rukna hoga, itni der aaisi company main rehna is soo injurious for me" she said clearly taunting me. I rolled my eyes at this as I was too tired for another fight....

More 15 minutes passed and he wasn't back yet, I had lost my calm 10 minutes back and now I was pacing the length of the car frantically...

That's it, enough!! I can't just keep pacing here doing nothing and waiting for the driver to show up. I decided to find a way by myself and started walking towards the left in order to find some help. I walked merely distance of ten steps, I was kinda expecting her to take it as a hint and follow me but when I didn't hear any footsteps following me I turned around only to look at her gwaking at me with a ‘what the hell’ expression that masked her face and made me  groan in frustration..

" I guess someone's too eager to fall a prey to wild animals here" I said loud enough for her to hear me and i am pretty sure she did but chose to ignore and stood there wrapping her arms around herself.

" I surely ain't looking forward to it rather I would find a better place to stay. If somebody wants they can join" I tried giving it another try also in a way hinting about my plans, as initiating a conversation after a fight was like ditching my ego.

" You can go ahead I ain't going anywhere. It's anyways unsafe to be roaming here it's better to be wherever u are instead of ruining the situation all the more, jisse jana hai voh jaye mujhe apni jaan bahot payari hai main nhi jaa rahi" she said looking at me with a disintrested look.

" look there is no point standing here we could find some help instead and figure a way out of here. I would have left if I could go alone but alas!! I can't as I cannot leave you here as well after all in a way you are for now company's responsibility and tumhe kuch hua toh naam meri company ka kharab hoga and i can't afford that"

I tried explaining her making sure to come up with a sane excuse at the same time, because I don't want her to mistake any of this for some care kinda bullshit . I was trying hard to be calm all the while but when I saw her not paying even a single heed to anything that I said I lost it. It was height of my patience now!

" tumhari problem kya hai yaha I am trying hard to get us out of here and u instead of cooperating are hell bent to wreck every nerve of mine" I said yelling out of frustration this time.

" stop yelling, I can yell too and what do u want me to do haa?? Cooperate in this stupid plan so that it can fuck things up more than they already are"  she screeched and honestly I was quite taken aback.

" tum toh aaise frustrate ho rahi ho mujh pe as if it is all done by me intentionally" I said totally enraged by now! can we for once have any conversation like civil peopl, I doubt.

" obviously, duh"

" listen you stop being unreasonable okay, main drive nhi kar raha tha jo you are blaming me" I shriked being super annoyed by now.

" ha toh..." before she could complete her statement and we could continue with our baseless bickering we were interrupted by my driver who finally decided to show up...

" Sir, ma'am" he said to grap our attention

" finally, kaha hai mechanic.." i said with my eyes simultaneously searching for the mechanic....
