41: His ways!!

Nandini's pov:

                   Peace is what i felt when i woke up to the distinct chirping sounds and a little sunlight making it's way through the curtains as it struggled to get in through them... My face instantly adorned a smile, afterall it felt like after eternity i was waking up to some peace, the monotonous life has had every bit of me in the past few days, the work, the travelling everything was so much for me to take and finally having a day off after such hetic days came to me as a relief..i got up a little late than usual and taking my own sweet time to get ready i left downstairs...

" good morning nanduu! Had a good sleep?" chachi it was, she sang good morning to me as she walked to the table setting up breakfast....

" i did, after so many days...and good morning to you to chachiii!!" i said as i went and back hugged her, kissing her cheek as she set the table up!! One cute lady she was!!..

" itna payaar kya baat hai seems like holiday is doing good on you!" she said and i giggled saying..

" Don't ask chachi! Agar kuch aur din i would have worked like this then apko apki nandu dikhti hi nahi, the entire time home, i would be wasted or too tired to do anything" i said as i sat on the chairs beside her..

" ha this work gets you all tired i can see, but i am soo proud to see you all working and being independent!" she said crassing my hair a little as i smiled at her...and with began our random talks with a little bitching here and there..

I was giggling on something chachi said, while sitting on the kitchen counter top as she made hot tortillas for breakfast when we heard the door bell goo tingggg!!! I excused myself to attend the person on the other side of the door..

I opened the door to see the most unexpected person of the hour!!! Of course mr.manik malhotra..what does this guy want now!!! I thought atleast sunday ke din I'll have some peace buy seems like aiyappa is really testing me!! He gave me a fight lipped smile as i saw him waving his hand a little in a hii..in return i gave him a pissed look!!

" good morning nandini!!" he said and i furrowed my eyebrows further..

" tum yaha kya kar rahe ho!!" i asked gritting my teeth...i was soo pissed this guy surely gets on my nerves!!

" bad manners ms.murthy have a courtesy to greet me back atleast" he said dramatically as his eyes went wide..

" mr.malhotra how ironic can it get you talking about manners ha!!" i said rolling my eyes at him to which he gave me a whatever look..

" manik listen, tum jao yaha se..I Don't want any scene here!" i said as i really had it enough!! I wanted a peaceful sunday and i was sure as hell that i could go to any extent to get it!! He already ruined things for me enough to let him do one more!

" common nandini what makes you think tum bologi aur main chala jaaunga, please like don't you know me!!" he said giving me a ‘ isn't it obvious duh’ look..i was about to fire him when..

" aree nandu itna time kyu lag raha hai kon hai darwaze par" chachi said as she walked towards us..

" yes! Appkon?" she asked him as she came and stood beside me..

" chachi yeh..." but before i could say anything he interrupted..that jerk!

" aree nandini introduce nhi karvaogi mujhe apni chachi se, khair main hi kar deta hu khudko introduce so hello!! Chachi, main manik....manik malhotra nandini ka boss slash friend" he said looking at her and smirking at me towards the end..i soo wish i could break his head and wipe that stupid smirk of his face..ughhh!!

" ohh hello beta!! It's soo good to meet you! Aree nandini why didn't you invite him in yet!! Aao na beta tum andar!" she told him and as if looking for an excuse to do so, he came in quickly..
