61: Denmark diaries!

Manik's pov:

" Manik!....denmark main kya hua!?" cabir voiced the question that he was longing to ask, i knew he had already sensed it to be something bizzare and big!

I swirled the whiskey in my glass, starring into the rich darkness adorned by the night sky as after our emotionally heated conversation we decided to sit by the pool for a drink.

I huffed a breath, mentally preparing myself for the trip down the memory lane!

" Tu janta hai na, pichle kuch saalo se nyonika ki zindagi ka sirf ek maksad reh gaya hai aur voh meri barbadi dekhna hai!! Huh..‘maa’ jo hai meri!" i  chuckled dryly as i spoke sarcasm dripping form my voice.

" toh iss baar bhi uske iraade vahi the, she wanted to drag me to hell yet again...Nyonika shikhawat is involved in illegal drug smuggling! She's been doing this for a few years now! And honestly i am not shocked, jo aurat kisiko bech sakti hai paiso ke liye uske liye toh yeh aam baat hogi!" i said hinting at her ghast act year back, i could here cabir gasp a little as i revealed this to him.

" Uske greed ne usko aandha karke rakh diya, sahi galat ka farq bhula kar sirf paise ki bhook reh gayi hai usmain...She wanted me to coverup for her so-called ‘business’ here, usse pata tha, ek baar if i get into this there's no way I'll be able to get over all of this, She was spying on me for a few weeks, usdin office main jo kuch hua mere jane se pehle voh sab aadha sach tha, mujhe pehle se hi tere ‘deal’ ke baare main pata tha! Voh natak sirf maine nyonika ke aadmi ko dikhane ke liye kiya tha!" he looked at me perplexed at the facts that i threw his way one after the other, i didn't let go of my patience and explained him the scenario answering all of his How's and why's! I told him about nyonika's dirty games!

" usse pata chal gaya tha that in my darkness filled life, i finally have a starlight glittering, for me in all her glory and just as classic nyonika, how can she see me being anything close to happy, her envious eyes finally found a way to wreck my life once again! She tried using the one dear to me to fulfill her greedy, dark motives. She thought using nandini and her family as a bait she will finally get her way with me! But alas! Only if she knew i had a bigger plan, just for her!" i had a wide smirk by the end, cabir still was fairly confused like he should be.

Flashback:

              More than a bloody week!!! This women has been testing my patience since more than a week now! It's been nine days long since i set my foot in Denmark and yet there's no news about nyonika or her whereabouts! She already had her men waiting for my arrival at the airport, and they got me to this hotel where i have been currently residing, of course it was only because she can keep a tab on me on my every action minute or large!

Her mens were over my head 24/7, it was no less than being on a house arrest, resulting into me not daring to contact nandini or cabir, not wanting to put them at risk. I knew something big was my way! I had no option but to abide by everything happening around me. In between she kept me entertained by her petty little games, adding fuel to my desire of ripping her existence off!

The string of my patience was on the verge of breaking and being stuck all day inside the room was not helping at all! Like another usual day since i stepped here, i was sitting sipping my americano starring at the magnificence of the mother nature, from my 15th floor's balcony, but to my utter hard luck, even this beauty failed to calm the tornado running inside me, i despised this feeling of helplessness, that women sure knew ways of getting on my nerves severely, as much as i hate to say this but she was successful enough!

My thoughts were interrupted by the continuous knocking on my door, i walked to get it, it was one of her men clad in a jet black tuxedo.

" Mam, is here! She wants too see you, i am here to escort you, please get dressed i shall wait here!" he spoke in his broken danish accent, in response i gave him a firm nod before getting  into a black T-shirt with grey blazer and back pant.
