55: His side of the story!

Nandini's pov:
            
                I left his hand that has been in my hold as he told his condition for me to be forgiven, for a second or two we stood starring at each other, he was expecting an answer and i well..i was thinking off ways to make him spill things..just then i thought something evil and smirked in my mind...well, alright baby two can play this game!

" you want forgiveness you get forgiveness.." i said his eyes shined a little and he bent towards me maybe for a hug but before he could i took two steps back..he looked confused and i continued..

" ahhhaa..not so easy there..I'll forgive you but...only if you tell me why did you pull up that drama when you already knew everything and why did you leave for Denmark and plzz don't even try to come up with 'it was a business deal' shit because i know it wasn't just that there is so much more to it!" i had my voice firm to let him know if he can get his ways so do i!

" nandini..listen to me i will tell you everything let the.." he began and i knew he would end with ‘let the right time come’ but i was hell sure about what i want and i wanted answers! I don't care if it's a right time or not!

" ahhh..nonnegotiable! U decide are u telling me or wanting to watch me walk out of here choice is yours!" i stated crossing my hands on my chest i looked at him with my eyes determined and knees itching to hit him where the sun doesn't shine, you know just in case his reason isn't appealing enough! This guy better have a good reason to pull that stupid stunt on me..

Knowing there is zero way out of it he gave in sighing! I smirked at this little victory finally i could get some answers if not all!

" fine! If you really wanna know this bad then be it! Just plz promise me there is no further questioning about how's and what's, i promise to tell you everything as the time comes okay just trust me!?" he spoke in a composed voice i nodded a little in a yes!

" okay!" he said softly..

" you remember a day before this fiasco i came by to your place!?" he asked and i nodded, confused i had vague memories of that day he mentioned, it was one of those days when he came by at my place to spend some time with everyone!

" usdin after as i went back to my place i got a call..nyonika ka call!" as he spoke i knew something dreadful is coming my way because there hasn't been a good thing and her name in the same sentence like ever!

I was alert by the mere mention of her name, but still held my calm as i wanted him to speak, i stood there listening to his side of the story..

Manik's house:

Manik's pov:

       I came back to my place to see kaka waiting for me as usual, i smiled at his care and he smiled back a little, i still remember the first time i genuinely smiled at him, obviously after i met nandini, he was taken aback but never the less u could see that shine in his eyes to see me genuinely happy! 

" beta khana!?" he asked as he approached me..

" khaliya kaka..app bhi please khalo apko mana kiya hai na maine to wait for me, app ki tabiyat kharab ho jayegi aaise, app please apna khana time pe kha lena abb se thek hai!?" i said leaving myself shocked, it was so not me..i have never been this expressive..ever, but i guess i am changing and changing for good! I smiled as i knew who is to be held responsible for this..kaka stood there as for a minute still before he raised his hands to caress my hair as he spoke..

" tumhe itne saalo baad aaise dekhke bahot aacha lag raha hai beta..tumhari khusi ki vajah joo bhi ho usse apni zindagi se jane mat dena..usski vajah se mujhe barso baad vahi purane manik ko dekha..aaise hi khush raho baba!" he had slight tears in his eyes as he said so, i was dumbfounded with the love and warmth this man had for me..i held his hand as i nodded at him slightly, smiling before i walked ahead to my room..
