35. Underwater Aquarium

Heartina...

After breakfast, Choi Young announced that we would all be going to the underwater aquarium that day. When he announced, I gave a big yawn.

"Are you sleepy Heartina?" asked Choi Young surprised.

"Of course, I woke up at 3:30 AM and was in the terrace from then", I told him.

"What? From 3:30 AM? Why didn't you wake me up?" asked Choi Young.

"Why would I wake you up and disturb you?" I asked in a mocking tone.

"For company of course. How can you just watch the sea without speaking to anybody?"

"Oh! I was not alone at all"

"What? Which jerk was with you?"

"Your best friends- Yoon Min Joon and Go Nam Soon", I replied.

"What? Why were you both with her? All had fun without me together! Hey, you two, do you even think of me as your friend? Anyway, tell me what you were talking about", he asked in a furious tone.

"That is..." started Yoon Min Joon, but I cut him off and said, "in between us. Please do not ask about it", I smiled and winked at Go Nam Soon and he grinned at me while Min Joon starred at me and Nam Soon in a confused manner.

"Get ready. We will be leaving in one hour", said Choi Young with an icy tone and left.

"What was that?" asked Yoon Min Joon.

Then Go Nam Soon told everything about Shin Chae Kyung. He waited to see his response and I was waiting to see the conclusion he would come to.

"Then, it means, the engagement is a fake one and she is not his fiancée. But why? Why? Has he fallen for Heartina?" he asked in an excited tone.

Go Nam Soon beamed. Then he turned to me, "You see... He thinks the same too. That is why we call ourselves as the best friends of Choi Young. We know him very well both in and out", he said and then started to tell Yoon Min Joon about the plan. Yoon Min Joon agreed and then smiled at me.

"Choi Young doesn't like girls at all. I was afraid, that he would be alone throughout his life and I am so happy that he found you Heartina. I am so happy for you both. Act well for the moment", he said with an emotional tone. I could now see what friendship was all about. I didn't have friends at all. I felt jealous of Young and at the same time, very happy for him. Would Young be hiding something from these two? Not a chance! I was sure, the photo my mom saw was a camera trick.

One hour later, we were all ready to visit the underwater aquarium. I was overjoyed to see different types of fishes underwater. Young was the last to come down. He was looking gorgeous in his blood red T-shirt and navy blue pants. He had his hair done with after-shower gel that smelled throughout the reception. I couldn't help but stare at his beauty. Go Nam Soon nudged me and only then I realized that I was staring open-mouthed at him. On the other hand, Choi Young thought Heartina looked gorgeous in her dress. It was a frock till her knees. It had a short sleeve lifted up a little, marine-blue in colour and had a single, large blood- red rose from her waist to the end of the dress. He liked Heartina so much. She was also in his dreams. He wished he could declare his love to her. But he wanted her to fall for him like he had fallen for her. He hated girls, yet was totally flabbergasted by Heartina. He did not understand it why. Yet, there was another question inside him, 'Will Heartina accept me even if I tell her about my secret?' He was worried. He threw away all these thoughts and decided to enjoy this moment with her.

The trip to underwater aquarium was not long. Actually, the island was pretty large but, our resort was sheltered in the middle of the sea. So, even to buy grocery, we had to take a boat and then leave for the main island. When, we reached the main island, I thought I must take Choi Young to that Ahjumma. Then, I decided to take him there on our way back home.
