42. Is my Vision Faulty?

I ran really fast to catch the murderer, panting and puffing heavily. Having spent so many hours in gym, this chase was easier than I thought. There were few trees with few park benches here and there. However, my path was silent too. I paused to see if I could hear any footsteps. But, the path was quite silent.

Being a psychologist, I closed his eyes and paid full attention to the minute sounds I heard around. I could not hear anything at first, but then I heard footsteps but it was a very low sound as though someone was walking like a stealthy cat. I opened my eyes and scanned the environment. Everything was really dark and also the killer had black outfit and so, I was really careful in my search, observing the slightest of movements.

Suddenly, there was a big blow on the back of my neck and I fell down to see the killer. The killer stood boldly in front of me and on seeing the silhouette of the killer, I was sure the killer was a lady. She was tall, may be of Heartina's height, and had a black mask on. Then, to my great surprise, she spoke and her voice was very familiar, but slightly distinct.

"I thought I would finish one today, but I think I'm really lucky to finish two", she said in a bold confident voice.

So, Heartina had been right all along. The killer was a lady. But, why did the voice sound so familiar to me? Whose voice is it? I thought hard and then got it. It was Heartina's voice and it was also a bit different from her. The killer lady's voice was bold while Heartina's would be feminine. Just then, I realized the killer lady was ready to kill me and I decided to drag by stirring up a conversation.

"You are a woman?" I asked her.

"Yes I am a lady", she hissed through clenched teeth "and now I'm going to finish you!" She raised her dagger that was already bleeding with Go Nam Soon's blood which made me sick, despite being a doctor.

Being a kungfu student, I moved right away and pushed the dagger from her hand and then pulled her down and rolled over her. So now, she was under me and I sat up and tried to pull out her mask to see her face. Her mask showed only her ice-blue eyes.

After great struggle, I pulled off the mask to see her, but she had a lot of hair and it was hazelnut brown in colour and she had it till her waist. I then pushed away her hair from her face to see her face clearly. Her forehead had started bleeding.

But when I saw her face, I fell back and stood up instantly to look at her properly. I was so shocked because the killer woman was none other than HEARTINA WILLIAMS............

Is my vision faulty?
