38. Family Inquiries

Heartina...

I was deep in thought when Go Nam Soon was back and we were going back home. I decided to start my inquiry again.

"Go Nam Soon"

"Mmm..."

"Do you know everything about Choi Young's family?"

"Yes of course. We are all family friends."

"Is Choi Young the only heir of their family?"

"Yes. He is the only heir. Why?"

"I was just curious of his family. Are you sure Choi Young is the only child?"

"Yes very sure of it."

"Have you been to his house?"

"Yes a lot of times"

"Have you visited his bed room?"

"Yes. But only before 10 years"

"What about now?"

"No. When Choi Young grew up, he was pretty sensitive and did not allow any of us inside his room"

"Can you tell me the time in particular?"

"I don't remember properly... but wait; it was right after his mom's illness and had that cold-attitude for few days."

"Tell me more about this. I want to everything about him. Did you visit him after that?"

"Yes. It was when he came back after looking after his mom may be 3 months after that. We all visited his mom and she was all healthy and my immediate thought was that she had some sort of sorrow inside, like she was hiding it from us though, she had regained her full health"

"Did you find anything different in her?"

"Actually his family was a lively one. But, that day what I observed was some sort of sorrow in their faces and all of them were trying to hide it from us. What bothered me most was, his mom was all well then why this sorrow in their faces? I wondered, but did not ask him why."

"Didn't you get any chance to ask him separately?"

"Actually, if you see his house, it will look like a palace and Choi Young will have separate quarters for himself though all the parts of the palace appear together. So, his room was pretty far from the living room. As we were about to leave for his quarters, he said some other reason and took us out for dinner. When we were back, we all stayed in the guest room and not in his quarters. It was our first time staying in the guest quarters. It was good too. I wonder why he made us stay there. That day he slept there with us"

"You mean he did not allow you enter his quarters at all? But why?"

"Exactly. He had some furnishing works going on in his quarters. He himself had been staying in the guest room for the past few days"

We were back to the café and it was nearly late afternoon. That evening we had the party. My mind was confused and from this conversation I couldn't come to a conclusion at all.

I went inside my room and decided to take a hot shower and then dress up for the party in the evening. After bath, Yoon Min Joon called me down for an evening tea.

I went down and found all the three members sitting there and waiting for me. I went and sat between Yoon Min Joon and Go Nam Soon. Choi Young got up and stood separately and then addressed all of us together.

"Today, our best friend GO NAM SOON is getting an award for his career. Usually Kim Ji Won, our late leader used to celebrate this happy moment. But as he is not here with us today, I take his responsibility to celebrate this moment. And today after the party is over, we will have our own little party in the terrace and I have a big surprise for all of you. Now give a big applause for Go Nam Soon" and we all started to give him a round of applause with big grin on our faces.

Go Nam Soon then asked me, "Heartina is your groom coming with you to the party?"

"Yes... he will be there and Choi Young, you can meet him today. Yoon Min Joon...Will Yoon Hae Ra also join us at the party?"

"I will bring her there and let's be ready for this new encounter", he beamed at me.

Actually, we had found a good man for Yoon Hae Ra and we all arranged a coincidental meeting for that man and her. I saw Choi Young's face had turned really out of normal.
