43. Hiding the Truth

Choi Young...

I was so shocked that I missed her movement. She got up and gave a strong punch on my face with her left hand and dashed away like wind. She proved she was left handed and I swear, I haven't seen such a strong woman in my life.

After 2 complete minutes, I came back to reality. What had I seen? Just now, Heartina was running with me chasing the killer. How could she be the killer? If she was the real murderer, then, how could she run so fast? Can a person run ahead of me and also behind me? I was confused and I thought hard. How could the killer be Heartina?

Then I heard footsteps again and turned to find Hwang Tae Kyung running towards me.

"What happened, Choi Young? Did you see his face?" asked Hwang Tae Kyung.

"The murderer is a woman and not a man. I did not see her face. I know she is a lady because she spoke to me and it was a woman's voice. She had long hazelnut brown hair till her waist with ice-blue eyes" I panted.

"Did you see her face?"

I was about to tell Tae Kyung, but a warning went off in my mind. I knew about him and he already suspected Heartina to be the killer and if I tell him, this, then for sure, he will throw her into the prison. So, I decided to find another opportunity to tell him later. I decided to save Heartina.

"No, she punched me and ran away" I told and then suddenly remembered "Wait...Wait...I pushed her dagger from her. So maybe it is lying here somewhere. Please search for it" I panted and Tae Kyung went to search for the knife.

"Anything else?" asked Tae Kyung.

"She is left-handed as Heartina predicted", I panted.

Tae Kyung moved away searching for the weapon, but my mind went to the killer's face only. She had her forehead bleeding. This is the only clue I have got to test if the killer is Heartina. If Heartina had a bleed on

her forehead, then I must tell Tae Kyung, but can I? I loved her too much to do so... I was thinking and I looked at Tae Kyung to see if he was searching in the right direction. But, he merely stood still deep in thought, just like I was.

Tae Kyung got the same clue repeated again- left handed lady with ice-blue eyes. I have been searching for her since that day of my first encounter with her. I couldn't find her at all. But now, why am I having a gut- feeling that she is the one related to this case? I will find her. She is mine... Icy, where are you, he thought. He knew only 3 things about her – left-handed, ice-blue eye color and her name is Icy, though it is not her original name. He felt a deep pain and didn't know what to do. When will I find you Icy? Is it possible that she might be the one I am looking for? Is she the killer? I wish she is not the one I am searching for.
