52. Unwanted and Unexpected

Yoon Min Joon...

Date: 19/07/2016... Time: 12:30PM... The café...

I was busy serving his customers in the café. Actually the customers that day included boys only. There was only one gang which was about 25 members. They ate a lot. Then, I handed them their bill when one of them asked,

"How much?"

"2500 won", I said

"How dare you tell us boldly?" asked one and caught my collar.

"We will never pay you", said another.

"Then I have to call the police", I threatened.

"The police lady is here", came a voice from outside. Everyone turned and so did Yoon Min Joon. It was the lady kungfu master he had seen at the hospital. She stood casually, leaned against the café entrance. She threw a dazzling smile at me and I couldn't help myself but smile at her.

The boys looked at her like a piece of cake. I was worried as there were about 25 of them and I wondered how this lady would fight all these guys. She came near me and stood in front of me protectively.

One of the guys came near her, "Hey, candy! I am rich. Why save a café owner?" he asked and smiled.

I thought she was falling for him but the next moment, he was lying down with his nose bleeding heavily. Cheon Song Yi had punched him right on the nose. I could not control my awe and shouted "Wow Awesome!"

Next the guys started racing towards her and she started fighting. She flew easily from one place to another and went out into the garden. I thought she did that especially not to break the furniture inside the café.

She gave strong punches, kicks and within next 10 minutes, she was standing on top of them with nearly 10,000 won in her hand and a grin on her face.

"What is all this?" I asked her.

"Your pay", she smiled.

"But they have to pay me 2500 won only", I explained.

"They must pay additional price for their misbehavior Yoon Min Joon", she said and came into the café. I could not come out of this shock at all. I wondered how this lady was so strong.

"Can you bring me an iced Americano with a lot of cream?" she asked.

"Sure, that would be my pleasure", I said and went to prepare it.

Then I gave her the coffee and she sipped it. "Wow, the taste is good. I think it feels even better because of having it after a fight", she said.

"Cheon Song Yi", I called and she looked up.

"Did you know it was my café?"

"Yes. I was impressed by you yesterday and wanted to meet you again. I also know that you are the son of the former President", she smiled.

"But, why did you get into this fight? If something had gone wrong and if you had hurt yourself..." I pulled.

"I don't care. I would do anything for you", she beamed.

"Why? Why are you doing this for me?" I asked her.

Though I understood that she liked me, I wanted to confirm it and bring it out of her mouth.

"You want my reason for saving you?" she asked.

"Yes"

"Simple, your mom heard about the case and asked me to protect you", she replied in a business tone.

I was a fool to think she like me and I was hurt. She looked at me with piercing eyes and then I asked her, "What about Hae Ra?"

"Who is Hae Ra?" she asked.

Now, I knew she was lying to me and I said, "Tell me the real reason. Why do you want to put your life into jeopardy for me?"

"I like you", she said and looked at me as though she waiting for me to respond. How can a person fall in love with a person he just met?

"What nonsense? You met me just now, then how can you jump to this conclusion?" I asked her angrily.

"I kept following you everywhere, but you didn't seem to notice me at all. I have been watching you for the past 6 months and only today, I got the courage to speak to you and confess my feelings for you", she replied.

"I don't know anything about you", I said.

"Cool. I will stay with you and tell everything about me" she beamed.

"Why should I listen to you? Why should I trust you?" I asked and she didn't look hurt, but was amused by my words.

"Take your time then. I will wait for you. But you are mine", she said confidently and paid for the coffee.

"You don't have to pay", I said.

"This is a business place and relationships get no subsidies here", she said and paid me and walked away.

"Cheon Song Yi, wait", I called and she turned, "Thank you for saving me today", I said.

"No problem. I would have done the same to any person in your situation", she smiled and departed.

The unwanted problem with the customer has resulted in an unexpected confession from Song Yi. I liked her too, but I didn't want to admit it very soon to her. Let us have some fun.
